Might try this month as I already hit rank 5. But time will tell. Been quite a while since I last tried and only hit rank 5 the 2nd last day last season
Man it's weird starting at rank 6 and actually playing against (mostly) proper meta decks. Honestly trying to wade through the 15-10 ranks is such a grind because of the plethora of crazy decks you run into.
I'm at rank 5 currently playing the Keleseth flavor of Big Spell Mage. I'll probably play some version of that or Secret Hunter. Hopefully I'll make it to Legend for the FIRST TIME IN 3 YEARS!!!
Man is it just me or is rank 5 like the new rank 10? So inconsistent. So many different decks. Hard to have sustained success because of it...
doubtful cause that rank ten, where ive been hardstucck for two days up and down. Every time i face a different deck its either my EXACT counter or a deck I should wipe easily but alllll my key cards are in bottom. Fun times.

Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.
I think the ranks like 10 and 5 are home to lots of experimentation since they're "floor" ranks. You can mess around without really losing anything. Thankfully I'm finally on to rank 4.
Anyone else having the same problem getting past rank 5 this month? Highest I've been is rank 5, 5 stars... Then smacked back down. This meta is brutal.
I've noticed the last few weeks in particular if your on at 2pm Est or later when the top streamers come on all of a sudden above r5 everyone is playing what they're playing. So play the counter.
This has happened to me the last 2 days when Zalae and Toast start streaming in particular around r1. Every deck I faced was suddenly priest. Check the streams they're both playing the exact deck list I started facing.
Also, go with decks you can consistently win with. Don't try to play decks you're unfamiliar with when climbing you will most likely get punished for it, especially in this topdeck meta.
My 2c on this month so far, GL everyone, take a break when you get tilted.
I hit Legend (EU) for the first time last month, I doubt I'll have the time to do the grind again this month, but since I started the month at rank 4 I figure there's a non-zero chance I'll make it anyway.
The meta has definitely reached full maturity, ever since I climbed out of rank 5 I can count on 1 hand the number of aggro decks I've encountered (a few Odd Rogues and a Face Mage, no Zoolock anywhere). Ranks 4 and 3 are full of Hunters (mostly DeathRecruit, but some Subject 9 too) and EvenLocks.
At first I tried to stick with my DeathRecruit Hunter (it's what I used to reach Legend last month), but it is a very unreliable deck in the mirror, it is basically all up to the RNG of card draw. So I switched to this Oakheart Controlock (https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/nagons-77-legend-control-warlock-october-2018/) and I'm doing great, currently at Rank 2 with 67% win rate.
Went from rank 3 to rank 1, 4 stars with Deathrattle Rogue a few days ago but took a hit and got back to rank 2 (faced a lot of Odd Rogues suddenly). Played a variety of decks back to rank 1. Need to think about what deck to make the last climb with; Odd Warrior looks tempting if I see my match-up spread. Or I might go for Secret Hunter, hoping to get it done by this weekend ;).

This deck is great fun, thanks. 6-0 with it so far from Rank 5 (no stars)... Cheers!
I made it all the way to Rank 1 with 2 stars before going on a massive losing streak. I'm currently at Rank 4 with 3 stars. Luckily there's still plenty of month left!
Rank 4 with Taunt Druid. Never played this archetype before, and not really a Druid fan, but it is a lot of fun :)
I don't have Oakheart, feelsbadman, so I'm running a version without the Dragonhatcher package. It's not as highrolling but still competitive nonetheless. My luck with Witching Hour when I have a Frog or Sheep in the pool is surprisingly good xd
Zalae's Priest is also fun, but I can't seem to win with it, feelsbadman
Our third month of The Boomsday Project!
Good luck to everyone this season.
Hit Rank 5 today with Taunt Druid, really consistent against most aggro and control... Even beat a Zerek Priest at Rank 6!
Unbowed. Unbent. Unbroken.

Gonna play Odd Rogue and some off meta decks. Tempo Shudderwock and Control Warlock. Might try Combo Priest as well.

Flamewaker is my all-time favorite card!
Didnt make it last month, but I am at it again with the secret hunter at rank 3 . At least I'll get my golden hunter soon
How do deal with Quest Rogue?
Seems very nice! Do you have any recommendation about replacing Dorian?

Just hit Rank 5 ( EU ) with this budget deck.
Meme and old school deck, i know, but... Hey, i enjoy playing hunter ;)
