This is gonna sound funny but i think most likely are: Fungalmancer and Giggling Inventor. Not because they are overpowered, far from it. They are just extremly popular and Blizzard tends to target popular cards.
FWIW - this morning, HSReplays was tracking Giggling Inventor with a 36% play-rate in Standard. Inasmuch as the card sees play in every sort of deck, not unlike pre-nerf Corridor Creeper, it seems a safe bet that the card will be nerfed, likely to 6-mana.
If the devs choose to address the various iterations of Combo Druid in Wild, I'd expect Aviana to be targeted - Star Aligner Druid currently has a win-rate slightly above 60%, and Aviana allows the deck (and every other iteration of Combo Druid) to regularly vomit 40+ mana as early as turn six. They addressed a similar degenerate combo revolving around Naga Sea Witch earlier in the year, so I don't think it's too unlikely that they'll target the current combo . . .

Might be, they completely shut out other 5 drops (except finishers like Leeroy and Doomguard), for example nobody plays Cobalt Scalebane anymore...
If I were to hit Branching Paths, I'd prevent someone from making the same pick twice. You could choose 1 attack-1 card; 6 armor-1 card; or 1 attack-6 armor.
Giggling Inventor - can really backfire if your opponent has blood knight and mossy horror deals well with it, I like the card. That being said, it is too good for a neutral, some minor nerf is warranted.
Branching Paths - could definitelly use a nerf to 5 mana, or alertatively Nourish do 6 mana. Or both, honestly, that passive playstyle of druid needs to go. I'd much prefer to die to the swarms of token druids, I can at least tech vs that, the matchup is interactive. Taunt and combo does nothing but draw, armor and stall until a win condition is drawn.
Spreading Plague - aaaaargh fuck you and your infinite stall, druids.......No need for a nerf if the above nerfs happened.
Fungalmancer - way too good for its cost, should be 6 mana. 6/6 in stats for 5, 4/4 of which with charge....
Spreading Plague - got nerfed already and i don't see this card as a big problem! Again you can use Mossy or Void Ripper for example to trade into it! Not that problematic in my oppinion, therefor no nerf needed!
The Caverns Below - this one is a bit tricky - saw 2 nerfs already and with new Tools in the last 2 Expansions it is good again - not OP but Good - maybe a complete Rework for the quest could do it ! But i still think it will not see a third nerf! Maybe they could nerf Key Cards for the Quests, or some Key Minions ...
Branching Paths - With this one i agree completely !!! Druid has a lot of Armor Gain and Draw - maybe change the possibilities of the card like gain 2/3 armor instead of 4? I mean the card is so versatile that i would change the mana cost or all of the effects you can choose from! You can use this Card not just in Control-like lists - you could also use it for token buff etc.
Vilespine Slayer - no! this card is fine as it is - i mean Rogue doesn't have much lifegain and survivabilty Cards so no nerf needed there ...
So i totaly agree on a nerf for Branching Paths and that The Caverns Below needs some rework ! but Giggling, Spreading and Vilespine are fine i think!
I'm glad someone is still professional here in this site.
Giggling Inventor reached 35% of decks, and has 50% playrate, which is higher than the previous record holder Corridor Creeper
Ok yes it has counters, but U most of the time run 1 copy of it, and U don't even alwasy have it in hand, which is why Giggling is still good.
Same with Spreading Plague, if u don't have mossy in hand, what are you gonna do? Insta concede? I mean in some decks like Odd Pally U can't even play that card.
I'm just curious how long people can hold on to their 'just play blood knight or mossy horror lul' statement. I'm pretty sure they are gonna bitch about not drawing them and blaming Blizzard again.
The thing about Giggling is that it is centralizing the metagame, and I'm not sure that's something that's desirable.
It's clear that Giggles isn't as centralizing as Creeper was. Creeper was the more powerful card. I think Giggles reminds me a lot of Shredder, and eventually people turned on that card too.
I wonder if aggro, which usually ends its curve at 5 mana, would still play a 6 mana giggles?
I don't have enough experience with Kingsbane to say the same thing.
Both need a total redesign imo. I play against Kingsbane way too much on both formats and from what I can tell, lifesteal on a Kingsbane ends the game for you completely. As for Quest rogue, as much as I want it nerfed, I don't know what nerf it will get (again).
If I were to hit Branching Paths, I'd prevent someone from making the same pick twice. You could choose 1 attack-1 card; 6 armor-1 card; or 1 attack-6 armor.
now this idea I like for Branching Paths! Well done TheBitterFig!

There is at least some super niche counter play to Kingsbane through weapon destruction and milling and/or Azalina. Those aren't good options - but they're something. (This is something I've seen StanCifka do a fair amount).
I wonder how common place they'd become if Kingsbane was really an issue.
Honestly the only cards that are making the current meta not great is Sonya and Spreading Plague. Both are just polarizing when they are used in a proper match up. Sure Quest rogue can still bounce Giggling Inventor's around, but the strength of this comes in getting the quest out early and being able to create a ton of them for real cheap. Sonya makes the quest too easy to pull off and even once it's done, all it does is make clearing the board more easily and lets you use resources haphazardly. Sure the same can be said about Zola + the DK, but that is a lot more investment, is much slower, and doesn't even let you play 1 mana Gigglings.
As for Spreading Plague, a class shouldn't have the power to just shut down a deck due to one card. I'm all for having multiple card synergies to prevent a deck from functioning, much like Secret Mage did with Counterspell and Explosive Runes, but these cards are one and done and most the time take a bit to set up. Spreading Plague on the other hand locks out most minions based decks, can often lead to lethal due to Branching Paths, and just doesn't have a lot of counterplay like the aforementioned secrets. Sure there is the whole "don't play a lot of minions" argument, but when your opponent can gain a lot of armor in 1 turn this doesn't really fix the issue. As for the argument of putting in Mossy Horror or Void Ripper, one single class card shouldn't force everybody else to run a tech card. Last time something this dominant brought tech cards into every deck in my opinion was Dr. Boom, which was more or less because every deck could run it and BGH was cheap and efficient. I'm a fan of tech cards, don't get me wrong, but there shouldn't be a single card that just flips off every creature based aggressive deck.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.

You can't stop the signal.

The meta is very balanced. Makes no sense nerf anything.
If u nerf Giggling Inventor to 6 mana... u are really buffing him to make even decks much more stronger.
wow crying because there's A good card that's affordable for everyone

Spreading plague really is total BS.

Um ok cavern has been nerfed all ready so has plague.wtf u want to remove the only card rogue has for removal.?????????
All great cards, not enough to nerf. Put malygos in hall of fame, maybe rework caverns below.
My prediction is that OP is going 0/5 with his predictions, and will be so embarrassed, he will never open his mouth up again.
I'm totally with you on Giggling Inventor & Branching Paths (but you could reduce the armor even further). Also think Spreading Plague is worth considering. Vilespine Slayer is definitely a strong card, but not a nerf-candidate in my book.
Adjusting Giggling Inventor, I hope they leave Caverns Below alone this time.

How to balance meta:
1. Delete Quest Rogue
2. Nerf Spreading Plague scarab's to 1/3s but change cost to 4 or 5 mana
3. Delete UI
Perfect
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
