In a Mech Warrior based, the answer is pretty obvious. As for other Warrior decks, it's just extra value for just 1 mana and one card slot. While popular Decks like Odd Warrior destroys aggro decks, it has A LOT of problems against other slow decks, one of these is the lack of late-game value. Omega Assembly helps with that. Especially if you also run Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, basically transforming your Mechs into removals as well as pressure. It's just that extra value you might need. Is it always enough? Well, certainly not but it's definitely a good addition. It's not an auto-include, for example running Omega Assembly in say, Recruit Warrior, is questionable but it's definitely better than other most other cards available to Warrior in Standard format right now.
Warrior only card and lets you discover a mech, if you have 10 mana you get all 3.
so why is everyone running this card ? if you look at all the cards that are aviable in standard format, 80 % of the mechs are just terrible bad.
I initially thought the same thing and rated it quite badly - but it gives warrior a way to just have stuff. Sort of like why a lot of control warlocks play Rin. In a fatigue/value game, just having stuff to do is good, even if that stuff is bad.
That said, the amount of Geist that's around in control mirrors makes me reconsider it. It's certainly among the weaker cards in the deck. The games you want it, you often don't have it.

It's a bit like a reverse on the old joke, "the food such-and-such restaurant is terrible, and the portions are so small." Most of the mechs aren't great. But there are three of them. One mediocre card isn't good, but having three can go a lot further.
Also, Boom gives them Rush. That's also huge. A weak minion can just be slammed into something as instant removal.
So it's bad food you can get fast and in large portions. Omega Assembly is cheap take-out pizza.
Yeah I took mine ones out as well. The card looks good on paper but doesn’t do anything in most games. Against aggro they are too slow and weak. Against control they are fine but what you really want is your hero power up and running. There are many other, better anti-control cards available in Warrior.
Omega Assembly is one of the only ways warriors can create some form of value. It's not really that great in my opinion since every time my opponents used it, they just haven't gotten anything good, but it can be pretty useful at stabilizing the last little bit after you've played Boom. Not to mention, Eternium Rover is pretty strong at stabilizing, along with the 6 mana warrior mech that sucks buns without rush and both are warrior cards so they appear more often.
I feel like it's less that the card is good, more that warrior doesn't have anything better to run.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
Warrior is a control oriented class at the moment. Omega Assembly is a late game value card. Control decks love late game value cards. You are asking why 1+1 equals 2 right now bro. People don't run Ysera because a 4/12 is a great late game finisher, they run it because creating cards out of thin air is cheating and cheating in Hearthstone is good.
I prefer Lesser Mithril Spellstone in Recruit decks since you run 5 weapons (2 weapon projects, 2 blood razor and woecleaver) you can get a fairly big tempo push for 7 mana (which is generally better than what you will get from assembly).
It`s a very goodvalue card as long as you don´t run into control with Geist. I am loosing a lot of the control matches by one or two turns if my oponents plays Geist to fagitue ... Andagainst fast decks it´s still fine to discover a card that will help you earlier...

Simple: 1 mana draw 3 minions (with rush if you're running dr. boom) is great.
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
It’s hand refill, for 1 mana. Super amazing card. Plus they will have rush as long as you played Dr Boom.

The card is good by itself, the problem is Geist, if 10% of the decks run that is enough to this card don't deserve the slot anymore.
Playing odd rogue for 2 days, never matched with a Mecha'thun deck, not once.
Try to play with warrior and match 3 of them in a row.
Is like the matching system trying to delete the warrior class entirely.

It's a very solid value card, particularly when you have played Dr. Boom and the mechs all have Rush.

that card is pure garbage, lel at people thinking about this useless "value" you get from this card.
running a useful card >>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3 garbage mecha, especially in this meta.
