saw people play this deck and i kinda like it and seen its around 50% winrate or more so was wondering is it good to craft and if i would do that should i just do the normal one or the one with the quest priest ?
Hemet is not a good card to craft imo. Warlock Mecha Thun decks are more fun imo. Plus all the cards in the warlock decks are useful in over decks, unlike useless Hemet. My 2 cents.
I'm not sure if it's worth to craftMecha'thun priest, as it feels a little high rolly to me. I'm assuming you are talking about the one that uses Reckless Experimenter and such to pull of the combo. I wouldn't craft the one with the quest as there are so many different decks for each class, and all of them are varying in different playstyles, it's really hard to know if you should mulligan quest or not. (Mulligan quest against control, keep against aggro or midrange). And so if you guess wrong, it can feel a bit of an auto loss because you have your early game a bit in a tough spot. I like the normal one with pyromancers and such as it feels a little bit more consistent against aggro and you don't have to worry about quest screwing up the combo.
(I honestly hate playing against it because it really just feels like I can't do anything as soon as they play Hemet, Jungle Hunter)
Overall: If you have excess dust and you wanna have fun, sure go ahead. If you are tight on dust I would hold off till it's refined.

Calling hemet useless seems to me you clearly have no idea whats hemets use. To reply to the op i was in same position like you. Its a really fun and nice deck. Easy to pull off once u play hemet and have screams in ur hand. I went from rank 7 to rank 5 with a 80% wr on eu. Now on rank5 not so good so i switched to fenos hunter.
Idk what these people are smoking, this deck is really good. I have been playing it from rank 20, and now at rank 10, have not lost once with the deck.
If you play properly with pyromancers, your lashes and psychic screams, aggro is defeated very easily. The combo is also surprisingly consistent and is done at turn 10 due to the crazy amount of draw we have to get Hemet.
If you plan on playing a fun and good deck this is definitely the deck you should play. To answer your question, the quest variant is pretty bad, the draw one is faster and more consistent.
Pay no attention to anyone that says Mecha'thun a bad craft. Even if it's not at full potential now (although all Mecha'thun decks are Tier 3 currently and could rise, the "meta" is changing every day), somewhere down the line, there will be a Tier 1 worthy deck. All it needs is a few more broken cards.
However, I find the Priest version incredibly dull. The Warlock version is slightly less consistent, but more enjoyable to play. And Hemet is not required for Warlock or Druid.
In terms of competitiveness, its strength depends on the meta. In an aggro meta, it sucks unless you manage to draw a Wild Pyromancer early on and combo it with lots of heal spells. But it dominates slower decks that have no means of disrupting your combo (e.g. with Demonic Project).
In terms of fun, I echo a poster above that it is pretty dull. It's cool the first few games you pull off the combo, but gets incredibly boring quickly because all you are doing is stalling until you draw Hemet, and your stall options consist mainly of healing yourself and using (pretty limited) AOE, rather than intelligently interacting with enemy minions.
Also, I think its strong performance currently is also due to it not being well-known initially and the combo catching people by surprise. I think its performance will only drop as people start figuring the deck out and realising what they need to do to counter it.

I think he meant Hemet wasn't played at all, until Shudderwock appeared. Apart from that deck, only Mecha'Thun decks use it and it will become a fringe card soon yet again. And it will rotate in April 2019, so crafting him just to play Mecha'Thun decks for 2-3 weeks is pointless.

If you didn't open Mecha'thun, don't craft him , he's definitely a bad craft.

In conclusion, I would not recommend crafting it.
