Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
I'd say it's only playable if you pull it with oakheart (along with a dragonhatcher of course). Not sure if priest can get away with that kind of stuff though, druid's ramp makes it easier.
Note: what I said is for standard, no idea about drakkari enchanter in wild
In standard sees play only alongside Master Oakheart and Dragonhatcher. You can toy around with it in a greedy deck that utilizes The Lich King and Ysera. Other than that I'm afraid you need to move to wild, and even there it's mostly used in combo decks that rely on Emperor Thaurissan.
I play a similar deck. The problems I run into is vs. aggro decks. You really need early board control to get the ball rolling. The second problem is draw. Northshire Cleric, Lightwell, Powerword:Shield are good for draw. Nat Pagle can be a decent card for draw but also with an Inner Fire is a Turn 3 4/4 (or turn 2 with the coin). Lightwell, Divine Spirit, and Inner Firecan be good for an early big card that heals itself and benefits from the buffs. Adding a few taunts in there like Unpowered Steambot in conjunction with Inner Fire can help keep the combo cards alive. Lady in White is a good card to have for your high health/low attack taunts and Lightwell. Hogger has actually saved my ass and slowed play a few times for me, as two 2/2s with taunt every turn can get really annoying for your opponent. The Lich King, and Ysera are also great cards, as you get two cards end of turn. With The Lich King and the two cards its easy to get Army of the Dead and you can get alot out very fast turn 9.
Another piece of advice is to try and stay alive long enough you can put the end of turn buffs a few at a time (ie dont do it early, one at a time with the mana curve) or theyll just get knocked off. Ive been playing around with this type of deck and many iterations and have a 52% winrate on ranked. Its not bad and when it works its awesome, but you will get beat out by most meta decks.
Hi
Is using drakkari enchanter viable in standard as a climb deck?
it's used on druid in some really greedy lists in priest, I didn't see it.
It's also used in conjunction with Emperor Thaurissan for certain combo decks.
...do you have a deck that you're theorycrafting?

As DoubleSummon said, it's currently only used in druid:

I play mostly in standard. This is the deck I have so far
I like the creativity. What's the general game plan of the deck?
The idea so far is to buff using end of turn effect and double using [card]Drakkari Enchanter[/card] then use [card]Carnivorous Cube [/card] to setup for [card]Devilsaur Egg[/card] or use [card]Mossy Horror[/card] to get the raptors.
[card]Mirage Caller[/card] is the wild card that can be used to either duplicate eggs or other end of turn minions.
The third synergy is to get minions with high health so I can double their health and use [card]Inner Fire [/card] so I can go face.
It is fun to play in standard but difficult to climb in ladder. I was thinking this could be atleast a Teir2 archtype

So long and thanks for all the fish.
Thanks everyone. I am starting to think of different ideas .. Hogger ... wonder if an odd priest would make it workable ?
