I can't figure out which quest card is the best quest card to have after the Witchwood expansion. The Warrior Fire Plume's Heart looks tempting. Still viable to craft a quest card? How soon is Kobolds and Catacombs going to be shifted to wild format?
Last February, I was able to reach rank 12 with Secret Hunter. Now I am back to middling rank between 15 and 18. I want to try to climb the ladder. I am thinking that since I have 9600 dust, it should be an easy climb with loads of legendaries and epics. Reaching rank 10 would be awesome.
Here is an example -- while one of the more popular streamers has highlighted this in a youtube video -- is this a good deck to climb the ranks?
KAC will rotate in 2020, but quests r from UnGoro, which will rotate next year. Not sure if those were two separate questions or you thought quests were in KAC (kinda looks like it, if not sorry :p) ... anyway, warrior quest is one of the good ones and like 10 months till its rotation is more than enough time id say, so craft away ;-)
Druid quest is the most fun and possibly the strongest at the moment. A little bit weaker against aggro, but pretty much a guaranteed win once you finish the quest (with the right build of course). PM me if you're interested in my secret sauce.
If you feel like playing wild then I would craft a quest if not then just save your dust.
As far as the best quest for wild, the most commonly used one if the Priest one Awaken the Makers. There are some decent control decks the use it.
But you cannot go wrong with Open the Waygate either. The card is Gold and although it may not be used super competitively at the moment the wealth of decks you can make with it is enormous.
If you need further details. Let me know! ^^

If you like control decks, Kibler's Quest Priest is pretty much the ultimate control deck. It suffers against Taunt and Quest Druid (which is uncommon) and Quest warrior and is about 50/50 against hunters, also Shudderwock Shaman and Quest Rogue are autolose, but those decks are not super common. Quest Rogue is dead (not faced a single one since the nerf). But this deck autowins versus Odd Pally and does very well against even Rogue, even Warlock and even Shaman. And with Benedictus, you can also easily beat the mind blast priest and many other control decks. It's probably 60/40 against Cubelock, in the Priest's favor. It's so much fun to go down to single digit health against an aggro deck, only to complete the quest and win the game fairly easily.
Hmmm... My play style is more defensive. So if control deck means I have control of the board (ie I have more minions than the opponent), then I should look at Kibler's Quest Priest. I have a Face Rogue deck that I enjoy; playing combos is fun for me. I just wish I can kill the hero faster and climb the ladder faster.
Clarification: I assume that 'climb the ladder' means going from rank 20 to rank 10 or rank 5 in the fastest way possible. Is my assumption correct?
Hey BlondAngel, Fire Plume's Heart is a very cool Quest. I did craft it too a few days ago, but since I mainly play Wild, I didn't find it THAT strong over there. In Standard it's currently a T1 deck, so you'll do great with it! Watch kiwiinbacon's video from a week ago to see it in play. And (for Wild) it will only get stronger since the card pool will increase through each expansion.

Actually KaC rotate at the same time as Un’goro I.e next year

Quest Priest is pretty good at the moment in both Standard and Wild. Druid quest also sees some play but it's more meme than competitive

My mistake that quest cards are part of Kobolds when they are actually of Un’goro. Thanks all for the feedback!

You are wrong, K&C and UnGoro rotate at the same time. The fact that a mod doesn't know how the rotation system works worries me... :(
Fire plume's heart is a safe craft. Currently a t1 deck. Should remain at least viable till the next expansion.
Crafted! I will let you know how it goes...

Quest Warrior is a good deck...but very boring, IMO.
