Playing against Shudderwock/Grumble, Worldshaker is annoying. The deck may not be top tier, but just feels really bad to play against it once they play ten Shudderwocks.
So here is a proposal for a quick fix, without nerfing all the cards to oblivion:
no just cut the time furher ther is no need a fix its a tier deck nerf cubelock they ownd the meta al since the release of KaC and palla so stop crying bout a card that is just so good als uest mage
So yall think the exodia itself isn't the problem and only the animation time? That makes absolutely no sense. Shaman had an exodia deck already but it required (in wild) 6 combo pieces and perfect APM to pull off the combo (if in standard you needed 2 turns and 7 combo pieces). I played that deck a lot and this Shudderwock crap makes it so much worse. I hope they don't change Shudderwock much but the cards around it so I can continue playing my value control Shaman.
After the first day, i forgot that Shudderwock even existed, but threads like these remind me that a fix is apparently still needed. Playing on ladder will most certainly NOT remind you of this fact, because Shaman is currently dead.
I hope that shudderwock does not get nerfed, but the animation effect gets changed. Shaman has been dead for a long time and it was refreshing to see that once the expansion hit that shaman would have a viable deck that did not rely on the RNG of evolve effects. I think that Blizzard needs to focus on the main two problems of the ladder aka aggro pally and cubelock. I did also see in another thread someone suggest that blizzard implement a "skip animations" button that you could click right next to the squelch button. I think that would solve the animation problem without putting in too much effort into changing cards.
(edit): Also changing part of this combo does not solve the fact that Shudderwock will probably get new combo cards in later expansions. It may not even need Saronite in the future.
nice fix, I remember when they killed Warsong Commander to prevent the dreadsteed machine gun when the solution was simply what they did later to Dreadsteed I hope they are reading right now before destroying Shudderwock
Why is this concept of nerfing decks that aren't top tier, but are subjectively annoying to some, still a thing?
Things shouldn't be nerfed because they are 'annoying', but only if they are too strong.
Otherwise, we get the Raging Worgen Warrior fiasco, where a deck that saw almost no play was nerfed and removed from the game because some people didn't like OTKs and couldn't be bothered to tech in Defender of Argus because "Mah winrate!"

Give it the Ol' Echoing Ooze treatment, good idea.

I like that fix a lot, also slight buff to this card in Buff decks since you can turn 10 this+Steed but its in wild that will be ok.
no
A fix is usually applied to something that is broken.
Why do you think Shudderwock is broken?
The only thing that needs to be fixed is the animation being too long.
Love it. this way TTK shudderwock will seize to exist but shudderwock itself will still be a powerful late game board flood.
Really well designed.
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

Release the Kraken!
I've played against Priest who hit me in the face with a 30-30 after playing Inner Fire.
I've had Mage casting 6x 0mana Fireball at my face, ignoring my board filled with taunts.
How are those okay, but Shudderwock not okay?
No Saronite chain gang does NOT need to be changed...that's just dumb. The animations need to be fixed on Shudderwok that's it.

Why are people still complaining about a deck that can barely get a win? I HIGHLY doubt they will do anything besides adjust the animations.
the only fix it needs is something that makes it stronger. current quest rogue is a stronger control killer than this deck.
I don't think it's that broken, but if it ever did need to get nerfed they could change the text from:
"Repeat all other Battlecries from cards you played this game (targets chosen randomly).
by having it also play your opponent's battlecrys.
"Repeat all other Battlecries from cards played this game (targets chosen randomly)."
Another option would be to limit how many battlecrys get played:
"Repeat other Battlecries from (up to 6) cards you played this game (targets chosen randomly).
just a thought

this could work :D

The deck is shit, but I want to nerf it anyway because I don't like it.
Good logic.
FYI, nerfs are applied when something is too powerful, not because it annoys some people.
