Hey i am a wild play but wild was getting so tilting i moved to standard and i did cubelock i like decks that are hard to play and have a lot of plays per turn so i started playing and i am 71-23 76% and that seems really high to me and a see a lot of other people have a high win rate as well and just wanted to ask do standard players think of this deck is to powerful i see it in wild lot in wild it's so bs with giants in it as well most of the time you just lose by turn 5 or 6 so what do people think of this deck?

Did you start Standard ranked on rank 25?
If so then it explained the 76 % win rate. It will stale when you get to rank 5-ish. And most likely before.
Its not too OP the only issue I have is that it isnt fun too play. And I assume that you were joking about looking for a difficult deck to play as Cubelock is one of the easiest decks Ive ever played. A bit more difficult than pirate warrior but only barely. Its not very nuanced so just being good at hearthstone will provide you with a high win rate
There are more powerful but it stifles entire archetypes like midrange and tempo. I feel like it needs addressed but since expansion drops on Thursday we’ll see what shakes out. Guessing there will be a nerf in the month after WW drops.
Or play against. We have an expansion in two days, and excitement is tempered by the fact that cubelock is still around. It really doesn't matter what I get in Thursday's packs - I will continue to face cubelock/control warlock over and over again for the foreseeable future.
It's pretty annoying to play against, and I found it terribly boring to try playing as too. The only thing that makes it "difficult" to pilot is, everyone has played against it 1000 times so everyone knows what's in your deck, and how to play around it (obviously playing around cards is what you see more in the higher ranks).
Cubelock has killed the game for lots of people, but then again, before that, pirate warrior killed the game for people. Then before that, shamans killed it for some people. And before that, secret paladin killed it for people.
There's always going to be people who think some decks are too powerful and they refuse to play counters, even though decks have more than one counter all the time.

never played cubelock myself but was never scared to face it. it has many counters. people who complain about cubelock are the ones who are unwilling to replace their static cards with some tech cards which is greedy.
funny how pally has a higher winrate on every report of vs but everyone is whining about cube or warlock...I for myself mind it more losing to a guy who just attacks my face like a bot then someone who atleast plays the game and reacts to what i do, cause there are plenty counters in this meta to every deck.
Well to each their own, but I prefer playing with or against a Cubelock than a braindead Dudadin or Spitefull Pest (pun intented).
Get what those 3 decks have in common: they cheat stuff early and have ton of free mana. The only bad thing about Cubelock for me is that it makes most other controls unplayable because they lack value late game. Pushing the whole meta to pure aggro / OTK combo. But I am confident the loss of N'Zoth makes it much weaker against controls and the lack of Mistresses much weaker against aggro in the first 3 turns.
Finally, I have a feeling (BBH) Baku Balista Hunter will roll all over it. HP for 3 / 6 to face every single turn through the taunt wall will be terrible pressure. Probably way worse than what Secret Mage is now, And god knows it is cancer.
Another deck that will wreck Cubelock is Baku Quest Warrior.

Are you ok buddy?
He's right though, Cubelock is perhaps the least cancerous tier 1 deck to "dominate" the meta. I encourage anyone who has played the game for longer than K&C to take a trip down memory lane, and then ask themselves why complain? I don't even think jade druid / shaman / rogue was that good, a board full of green men don't have charge or taunt. Razakus Priest was winnable unless they drew the nuts (turn 5 Raza, turn 8 Anduin). What I remember is the really degenerate aggro meta.

It is strong, but not THAT strong as people think.
It's strong but has counters like Secret Mage and Spiteful priest. So no It's not too powerful.
Oh god. Not this again.

Quick answer here....

im going to make a guess that English isn't your first language?
Because im having a hell of a time reading this because of the lack of punctuation not trying to rude at all.
But cubelock has counters and not nearly as feel bad as giant lock in wild.
Do or do not. There is no try.
Not op, just really good and bad for the game because as long as its really good, control and midrange decks cant be played.

There's no excitement when playing against it. Either you win before they draw DK Gul'dan or you lose.
Which rank did you start at in Standard?
Also, no it's not too powerful - It dies to burn/secret Mage.
please close this thread... it's thread number 9000 on the same topic...
