So, just another casual day on ladder for me, getting a bit stuck at rank 8 playing cubelock vs. a lot of tempo mage and spiteful priest. To counter this, I search up some more meta decks on tempo storm, to find that murloc paladin is #2 in tier 1 decks. With this going, I decide to copy and paste that list into my deck collection to see what I'm missing, which is not too much. Was just missing Sunkeeper Tarim which I replaced with Leeroy Jenkins. This was absolutely the easiest rank and made it to rank 5 within the next few hours. Some of the games though just felt simply unfair. Here are a couple of those unfair games.
Seems like the fastest match I've ever seen and played in hearthstone history, since Firebat had a turn 3 lethal against stancifka with "Spinning Up" and 1 mana Rockbiter Weapon.
There is no need to nerf Murloc Paladin anymore. The nerf for warleader was because when you played finja to kill a minion and finja *died* if he was at 0 hp and pulled a warleader then he survived. Same as pyro+equality.
The deck is very good, but not invincible. Aggro is less cancerous after the nerfs. You can enjoy yourself that a lot of core cards are leaving standard soon.
Nerf's are not needed. The problem is this meta is to wide. There are lots of good decks so you cant focus in on beating 1 or 2 top decks. Its what all the nerf callers wanted! Be careful what you ask for, you might get it.

I 2nd this, no deck is superior, alot of 50 something win percentage decks. Nothing at this point needs nerf.
A good player is always able to manage his resources and play around divine favor, so stop complaining, the deck doesn’t need any nerfs, it can be countered and it’s really fun to play
Another unsung factor to Murloc Paladin's success is that turn 1 Vilefin Inquisitor > turn 2 Rockpool Hunter is the strongest turn 2 tempo play in the game right now. The power of other turn 2 plays, especially after the War Axe nerf, don't come nearly as close and it shows. The 2-mana and 7-mana minion slot both need a renaissance this upcoming year.
The trouble is right now murloc paladin wrecks any other aggro deck. Vilefin Inquisitor to rockpool hunter wrecks anyone but hunter, who may or may not have a razormaw answer. Call to arms guarantees sticky minions for murloc warleader and megasaur. It you buff your dudes or make a big one (spiteful) say hello to tarim. And if you're control with a bunch of cards, that kills you with divine favor. Something''s gotta give here.
Never was complaining, just stating that it might need another nerf, don't know where you got me complaining about it from as it is probably my best deck to play on the ladder for ranks.
Remember at the beginning of KfT when the Tier 1 consisted of any Druid deck using ramp thanks to Ultimate Infestation ? Well history is just repeating itself with Call to Arms (still not nerfing the big broken Epic, huh ? :), except this time for some reasons they decided just not to nerf the dominant ladder deck in particular and rather dispatch the second best proactive deck (Tempo Rogue), with 1-2 medium impacts for proactive Paladins.
Talk about some influence from those few measly days of HcT !
If T5 nerfs murloc pally you can sure bet the complaints about Burn Mage & Warlocks are going to increase. Are you then going to nerf both of those too? :P

This match was the final boss to rank 5.

I think a small nerf to divine favor would fix things.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
Please yes. Deck is so brainless and overpowered. How did it get even better after the nerfs?
Rotation will cut Vilefin and Grimscale, which is already a big nerf for Standard Murlocadin.
Divine favor is ok because is conditional, when you play vs another aggro deck is a useless card.
Call to arms is the broken card in the deck, but we really want paladin join warrior and shaman (maybe rogue) in garbage tier?
It is very dangerous a meta without any good agressive deck...

A lot of crying in here.
More salt in this thread than a load of nut
