Is anyone else stuck between Rank 15 and 11? Yesterday I was literally one win from finally breaking through to Rank 10, and now I'm back at 13. It's driving me insane and is in turn causing me to make mistakes, thus just making things harder. How do you guys get past it?
Okay then, I'll take a break. And I do play the decks that are giving me a hard time, so I'll take the time to go over their weaknesses more and go from there. I figured it out with Cube/ControlLock and MurlocPaladin, so I can do it with Secret Mage hahah
Basically, if you’re stuck that means you’ve reached as far as you’re skills can take you atm - either you practise more and get better or you rank later in the season. Eventually thoose better than yourself has ranked up and you’re facing less skilled players.

I dropped from 12 to 15 after the nerfs too. I've gotten back up to 13 a couple times only to go on horrific losing streaks and back down to 15. It's not just you. There's a LOT of weirdness with the meta all over the place right now. Your (me) even saying decks where your like WTF is this!?!?!
I don't think it's you but I do agree with the others who have said to take a break when your getting mad on a losing streak.
Good players tweak their decks as they climb according to the micro-meta at that rank and time. If you are encountering or losing a lot to a certain deck (say secret mage), take your time to adjust your deck (maybe tech in a secret eater) as you climb, or switch decks. And take breaks for sure, people make a lot more mistakes when they are frustrated and rushing their plays.

I've put Secret Eater into basically every deck I play hahaha. But yeah, at the moment I'm giving the game a break. Not gonna touch it for a few days or whatever and hopefully go back to it more clear headed.
No. He puts secret eater in, then magically Blozzard will match him against aggro. I swear they match your tech cards with decks they are useless against.
Taking breaks is crucial to avoid the tilt. Very often rage gaming leads to losing streaks and I speak from experience.
However, I find that even when tilted if I am playing my own deck I win more often than not just cause of how well I know my list. Playing a deck you know really well regardless of tier ca be significant to you winning games.
Just something to consider. :)

The tilt is all too real for me right now lol. THe other day I literally won 1 or 2 out of 10 games. And yeah, I have been leaning more towards the ZooLock deck I have. I feel I can play that best out of my collection

This doesnt have to be the case, seeing this game is 30% skill and 70% Luck in RNG based. It could just mean you having a bad luck streak, or not playing the right deck for the current meta. Let me elaborate, These days there there are plenty of decks and games out there, where you get steam rolled because their deck is super agresive and you didnt get the cards you needed to stop it in your mulligan.
If you do pick the wrong cards in your mullligan and you do lose because of this, its definitly a mistake a more experienced player wont make. And something you need to get better at.
My advice, stick with one deck, learn your nemesis out there and get good at getting good RNG :)
Just remember, even good players get stuck on ladder on occasions!

In a long term, RNG tends to dissipate (just look to players that get legend every months). But now and then everyone can get a bad day.
I know what you mean OP - Usually i'll be at rank 5 by now... But my season high and current rank is 13...
The above advise is gold - follow that and you'll be fine :) once you hit 10 it'll build your confidence back up :)
That's all I want to do this season - hit Rank 10. May actually cry tears of joy if I do hahahahhaha
This is really sad. Not trying to be mean, bit if you play this game average (8-10+ games a day) most days and can't hit rank 10.. you truly don't have the basic strategies and skills to compete on the ladder.
I play 1-5 games a day, when I do play (some times I don't play for 3-5+days) and hit rank 10 easily lol.
I've seen a lot of players making mistakes because they are just playing what seems good, but not thinking of the consequences. Small stuff like playing a 3 health minion on turn 3 and you know your opponent can clear it with just a single Duskbreaker, or recklessly not counting if you have lethal, and lose the game because of that. Many of these mistakes are just because you want to climb 'fast', but what you really should do is improve your gameplay, so you can climb fast afterwards.

Here’s a few tips:
After a few consecutive losses, take a short break to recuperate and avoid tilt.
Try playing the decks that you a struggling to beat. Learning their weaknesses first hand will improve your thought process.
Hand and deck tracking so you always know your and your opponent’s outs.
Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.
yeah im having a stressful time getting to 5 rn, but basically this^^^ dont tilt and play
Yeah take a break when you get mad. I find I always play better when I'm calm and in the right mindset. Hopefully that helps, good luck!! (:

Thanks for the tips, felllas :)

You're doing good, I'm stuck between 19 and 16 :)))

Been stuck between 13 and 11 also. Infuriating to lose to aggro paladin and priest summoner deck. Been playing big spell mage lol
The secret to avoiding bad matchups is playing poorly and losing a lot. Good luck, or ironically bad luck.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
