It's because kaleidosaurs are so easy to kill. I mean the second you play galvadon, there are numerous answers to immediately just kill it, with spellbreaker, silence (conditionally), or mass dispel and then kill it somehow because it's only a 5/5 now, or if it doesn't have can't be targeted by spells or stealth just shadow word: death, siphon soul, polymorph, if it does any mass removal like psychic scream, twisting nether, poison seeds.
Kaleidosaurs are really easy to kill and that's why all of them are dead except Galvadon.

Check out my Earth, Wind, and Fire - Elemental Shaman deck!
It's because Goblins started this marked for Kaleidosaur horns. They convinced dwarves that it would cure their... masculine shortcomings. Same reason why most rhinos are endangered.
I love paladin quest, but I can assure that even though the getting reward is not worth the reward (still fun!), galvadon is pretty hard to remove. There have been less than twenty people who have ever silenced, devolved or destroyed my galvadon when it had stealth.

GUYS I KNOW WHY GALVADON IS THE LAST KALEIDOSAUR.

It's actually quite tough to kill when compared to other cards, but I'm glad you get a kick out of Ungoro's favorite punching bag.
I'm pretty sure the only time I've actually played against a galvadon I used devolve on it. Pretty anticlimactic.
