Warrior has been due to be the worst class of the meta.. so this is expected until the next expansion or upcoming rotation
on the other side, Druid is really due to be the next worst class of the meta. However, looking at the class new cards, Druid seems to survive its due time for another 1-2 expansions
I'm with OP, I've always hated Warrior as a class. Either they were the grindiest control deck, or the face-est aggro deck, never in the middle.
Still, nothing is as bad as Priest. For a long time, Warrior took the cake, but now that Priest is actually good, it's really intolerable. The only reason why I haven't quit yet is because Druid and Rogue are at the top.
Before everyone cries to me about being a Druid player, I've always been a Druid main, even when they were in the dumpster (Rogue too), so just keep it to yourself. You may like playing Priest and Warrior, but I enjoy Rogue and Druid. Agree to disagree.
When was Druid ever "in the dumpster"? Druid has been Tier 1 since the beginning. Pre-Old Gods had pre-nerf Force of Nature+Savage Roar Druid, one of the longest cancers ever in Hearthstone. Old Gods had C'Thun Druid, strong but not cancerous, but boring. Then we have Token Druid and Jade Druid since Mean Streets.
"In the dumpster" might have been a bit dramatic, but they haven't always been tier 1. When FoN got nerfed, aggro/tokens wasn't all that strong afterwards, until Old Gods brought C'Thun which also wasn't tier 1. Karazhan meta aka Shamanstone and PWstone was absolutely disgusting for Druids. Druids finally got a bone tossed to them with Jades is MSG, the first since the FoN nerf (pretty long time). Look, I'm not a fan of the way the made Jades infinite, I think it took the game in a bad direction, but it is what it is and Druid (and Rogue) is my favorite class so I play what's good. However, Druids have not "been tier 1 since the beginning" at least not for the whole duration as you implied (and sloppily listed C'Thun Druid in the tier 1 conversation).
Wasn't Yogg Druid pretty good in the Karazhan meta ? Not Midrange Shaman good, but still...
Why does everyone act like Jade Druid has been king since it came out. That shit dropped to tier 3 and before KFT came out it was bottom of tier 2. Probably would have stayed there but y'all bitched about quest rogue so much when it wasn't even tier 1 anymore. Druid was really good pre FoN nerf but until KFT it wasn't top dog. It's was playable but not dominant like you are all making it out to be.
I was priest main for a while. Now I just hate it. It shuts down both midrange and aggro. Your early game is negated by their removal and your late game dies to the death Knight.
If you get lucky you can win with tempo rogue or cancer druid, and that's it. If you survive, a death Knight warlock can win.
Warrior is amazing. And warrior in the past used to be really good against aggro, bad against mid-range, and a coin toss against other control decks. Way better than priest today.

Pirate Warrior (what is left of it anyways) is still good against Razakus. Midrange Hunter is also capable of winning against them if you buff your bearsharks.
Honestly coming from the perspective of a Rogue Favortist. The current meta theres nothing really that annoying of all the decks period over time the decks ive most hated playing against have generally always been druid and face hunter. Druid generally in the current meta is still not fun to play against because of both jades and aggro being active at the same time. But generally no matter what im playing i feel annoyed to play against druid less so since the nerfs but its still not the most fun match because of the diversity of what your facing and that predicting it incorrectly can set you back quite aways to control the game.
Face Hunter I just generally dislike cause im not a fan of aggro decks not even pirate warrior was as annoying as face hunter when it was big. I personally enjoy closer more grindy games where the game is still winable by either side till late late into the game.
Higherlander priest and control warrior arch types I never really feel in most cases like the game is un-winable through out 90% of the games even if everything goes well for them in the case of druid you hit late game vs druids the druid recovers to around 15 health drops a 9/9 10/10 and 11/11 jade you kinda feel like 9/10 games the game is over even if you can clear them you know the same thing is happening again the next turn. Big druid with the twig feels like the same things is going to happen. Same goes for Aggro druid if aggro druid gets a decient start and your just dont have a quick responsive answer to balance it out right there and then it can feel like its game over. The games just generally feel over much quicker when they get to that point.
I think as a class with too much removal and armor gain and too little pressure tools control warrior was always going to be grindy.
AlsoI DMH warrior actually really sucks.. the amount of times I have drawn both DMHs in the first few turns is sky high. I lose 95% of the time because of that.
I can understand ppl hatred for pirate but never know why ppl hate CW too. It is the most honest deck to play against imho. You will know they just armor up and will try to remove all your stuff. I think that perfectly ok when you compare your priest matchup when they steal all your good cards against you, then shotgun you from full health with they DK. Or vs Druid when they cheat mana and play UI mean gameover. Or the ever annoying mage which you have to guess their secrets and freeze you to death turn after turn. Honest Deck like Control Warrior or Control Warlock is good for the game at the moment
Liked both control and pirates to be honest. Especially, fond of control since it had sooo many iterations to it! :3

I saw alot of gameplay from dmh warrior and the main problem I see with the deck is a lack of a good win condition other than fatigue, the new spellstone is a very good win condition since you can shuffle the upgraded version into the deck every time and summon 3 5/5's every turn or 2, paired with the amount of warriors removal and geist it jusr might be enough..
also tbh warrior was tier 1/2 forever it's ok if the class is one time at the bottom.
"I have seen worlds bathed in the Makers' flames, their denizens fading without as much as a whimper. Entire planetary systems born and razed in the time that it takes your mortal hearts to beat once. Yet all throughout, my own heart devoid of emotion... of empathy. I. Have. Felt. Nothing. A million-million lives wasted. Had they all held within them your tenacity? Had they all loved life as you do?"

Agreed i honestly hate aggro decks and pirate warrior never bothered me. I much more perfer a tempo and control style or play. I even like combo otk when it results in an out right kill and its unexpected. As long as the game never feels like its getting inevitable. Which is something I have to say i never felt with warrior or even priest that the games were ever inevitable usually there was always the though i can still win this game in alot of cases with a little luck at least for several turns and i started running out of resources. I cant say that with some other decks.
To me the most detrimental deck in the game is by far druid. And I enjoy playing vs druids now and then as well not fond that much of both jades and aggro druid being up at the same time. But because in each case there are points where if the druid or aggro player get in state x even though the game might not be over for 4-6 turns you know that short a miracle the game is over and you have lost. Machine gun priest if you can buy enough time you can burn out there resources and possibly get chip damage in vs justicar warrior you had to run out of resources in alot of cases before calling it gg. I currently think the worst thing in the meta is having twig and unstable infestation in the same rotation.

Dont think warriors in a super bad place personally i think taunt warrior is still decient and i dont hate playing against any specific warrior decks so. Its just slightly below the grade average but not horrible.

How in the world is Druid going to be next worst class? Have you seen his new weapon, it is busted as all hell.
It's not though? N'Zoth Warrior, C'Thun Warrior, Quest Warrior and Dead Man's Hand Warrior are still a thing.
But they lack representation due to it being heavily outclassed by Rogue (Tempo), Druid (Jade, Token), Priest (Big, Highlander, Dragon), and Mage (Exodia). Warrior is alive, but just forgotten.
just finished a wild game of n'zoth/dead man's hand/ mill warrior, and I have to say, the deck sucks but it's fun. You have answers to everything, they're just usually not good enough, which is why it's eh. Plus, you can't deal with most of the meta decks right now, except zoo

I loved the days when Control Warrior and Control Paladin were viable they were always some of the most interesting games of course Pirate Warrior is no fun but basically every aggro deck is like this

Justicar Warrior vs Justicar Priest was always a fun matchup. But I dont miss those stupid fucking pirate decks.

the new card sucks, and pirates were.
Not any other archetype of warrior ever since long before whispers
You need to rise above your hate and figure out how to beat them.
Face, aggro, combo, midrange, control, jank, doesn't matter.
There's a way to beat them. Honestly, I like it when the ladder is flooded with the flavor of the month deck. Makes it easier to tech against them.
I kind of miss those super long, down-to-the-wire fatigue matches vs Control Warrior.
Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.
I'm loving it. Playing against control warrior was always a nightmare, and Pirate was even worse. They were powerful long enough
