A), there are almost three times as many cards available in the current standard than there were in the gvg standard, and B), you're comparing a deck that exclusively focuses on synergy from a single expansion to a deck that by definition needs to use as many cards from as many sources as possible
Your counting is off: Lich King, Devour Mind, Spirit Lash and DK Anduin are 4 KFT cards already....
You are making a pretty narrow-minded comparison here. Firstly during GvG Era there were fewer cards in the pool, automatically increasing the ammount of cards from individual expansions. Secondly you are comparing an archetype solemly based around Mechs, a mechanic new to GvG, to an Highlander Archetype that has been in the game since LoE. If you look at Tempo Rogue, Jade Druid, Zoo warlock etc. there are usually 5-10 KFT cards in there (UI x2, Plague x2, Malfurion x1 | Prince 2 x1, Scalebane x2, Bonemare x2 | Archeus Veteran x2, Prince 2 x1, Saronite Chain gang x2, Despicable Dreadlord x2, Bonemare x2, DK x1). Compare this to your average GvG deck which had 8-13 cards from GvG while acknowledging the fact that there are 6 Sets (Classic, WotoG, Karazhan, MSoG, Un'goro, KFT) in the Standard Meta right now, compared to 3 Sets (Classic, Naxx, GvG) during GvG Era and you'll see that KFT cards are not underrepresented.
I would even go as far as putting KFT as one of the best expansions based on the viability of cards (nearly every DK is playable (except Warrior maybe), 2 neutral legendaries regularly put into decks (lich king, prince 2) with prince 3 and prince 4 making a few appearences as well). Then there are Scalebane and Bonemare which are pretty much Kings of Arena and viable in any Tempo/Midrange or even Aggro based deck. UI and Spreading Plague got Druid to God Tier before the nerfs, Skulking Geist gave a new answer to unlimited Jade win-conditions. Warlock DK and Dreadlords made Warlock great again, Bearshark became a mascot of a hunter revival etc. etc.
Terrible analysis. During the GvG era there were a very limited card's pool while now we've got lots more expansion set at our disposal, on top of that you are making a comparison between an Highlander archetype with a normal deck so it's obvious that the Priest NEEDS to take cards from lots more sets in order to fill his decklist while the Mage could just go with what synergize better with the theme of his deck (and those kind of armony withing a specific deck comes usually from a single set, because Blizzard usually doesn't repeat more mechanics from an expension to another).

For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Ridiculous comparison as noted by multiple posts above. On top of that you can't even count. There are 4 KOFT cards in that priest deck you posted: DK, Lich King, Spirit Lash, Devour Mind.
Druid has UI, Malfurion, Plague--all extremely OP; Crypt Lord/Swarm are played in aggro druid so 3/10 played in almost 100% of druid decks and 2 others played in 15-25% of druid decks.
Hunter is pretty weak but Bear Shark is great and Stitched Tracker is also solid; Rexxar can be played so 3/10 are played in most hunter decks but not many hunter decks are being played.
Frost Lich Jiana is a good card; Simul is played in quest mage; so 2/10 cards are played.
Pally only has 1 card that's regularly played, Righteous; Hero was overrated because it costs too much and hero power get's owned by the priest one.
Anduin is 100% best card in the set and totally OP. Statue/Essence/Servitude/Spirit lash are played in some of the decks from Priest--Priest obviously #1 deck are this set + nerfs.
Rogue doesn't use many of the new tools; shadowblade is played in a few decks; plague scientist is solid. So Rogue despite having a topi tier deck is not that that KFT friendly.
Shaman only uses one of the new cards, Thrall but it's a great card. All the frozen cards aren't played.
Warlock has 3 of the best cards in the set: Defile, dreadlord, Gul'Dan and there played in their two main archetypes.
Warrior kind of got the shaft but razor, mountainfire armor and garrosh are solid cards that are played in most non pirate warrior decks; too bad those don't really exist that much on the meta.
Lich is played in a ton of decks although I personally think it's overrated; most of the cards it gives you suck (in comparison to ysera that has much higher quality cards). Prince K is a great card played by a number of classes and almost too OP.
Saronite is played by token decks; bonemare is super OP; and there are a few cards that are great arena cards.
Set is solid. DKs are great; a few neutral cards are played and a good number of class cards are played by most of the top meta decks like druid/warlock.

This is interesting to me. If we look at some popular decks in GvG era, Mech Mage for example, we see that it uses 22/30 GvG cards.
Now if we look Highlander Priest, we can see that it uses very little cards from this expansion. 2.
It seems that this expansion is just a few super good cards and rest is arcane dust.

Yes. Let's compare a deck that runs doubles to a deck that is forced to run singles in a metagame where the card pool is triple the size. >_<

This is a troll post, right?
Guys, PLEASE don't feed the trolls...
lmao. Why even bother explaining this to someone obviously trolling us?
Courage is not the absence of fear, Courage is the presence of faith.
Huh, I though Loatheb and Mad Scientist are a part of Curse of Naxxramas. 19/30 it is.
That priest deck runs four cards from the newest expansion: Spirit Lash, Devour Mind, The Lich King and Shadowreaper Anduin.
Conclusion: learn how to count (and read?).
I also noticed on hsreplay that most GvG cards are not contained in any deck which has more than 0.1% of plays in standard.
Op is correct actually. It's all the same crap with a few bonemares and some other broken shit sprinkled in. 90% of the set is trash indeed.
IDK, set is better than I think OP is writing.
