So, where are we now? Looks like its pretty split between Auctioneer being the main issue and the Idol.
Here are the likely outcomes:
1) They do nothing > Everything goes to wild, and the experience for control decks stays terrible, until people get utterly bored of it, or you do. 2) They remove Auctioneer to HoF and Jade Druid sits at t1-2 for control. 3) They remove/alter idol and turns the Jade deck into t3>meme depending on the change, but lets be honest. T5 nerfs are devastating.
Am i unrealistic or is this solid? What do we think about the outcomes?
just move Auctioneer to wild im pretty sure wild players will find a way to deal with jade druid deck they have a lot of options they just have to be a bit more creative
I agree. That's another card that was a bad decision. Any card game ever that printed an extra turn card can be seen as evidence of how broken that can be. HS has the somewhat unique issue that is created by the lack of off-turn interaction. None of these cards would be as bad as they are in a game that provided each player with the chance to stop the broken card/cycle before it happens.
I think the really important note you make is the "meme deck" status. I cringe every time I see someone defend a bad card by saying "It's a tier 3 deck" or something similar. There HAS to be a concern for long-term health, and a card not being an immediate problem now doesn't make it any less problematic over time. There WILL be better support pieces, that's just how card games work.
You're using a lot of buzzwords, but not actually saying anything meaningful. You're not addressing the problem as it is, but instead addressing a dystopian future in which they intentionally make cards to facilitate a "broken" deck. That is highly unlikely given that the people who print these cards are aware of these issues as much as we are. Just because you can use terms like long-term health doesn't mean you know what that is at all.
You can cringe all you want, but the fact of the matter is that the card is good for Druid. The fact that I can cycle through a ton of 1-2 mana spells with Auctioneer and generate a board full of tokens, shuffle more into my deck, gain a shit-ton of armor, and buff my Yogg in case my opponent gets the upper hand all in one turn may be a problem. If it weren't for Auctioneer that would all be slowed to a more reasonable pace that many decks can deal with and Jade Idol would be fine. Yes that means Druid cannot have good card draw in the future, but that's it's identity and that's good just like Jade Idol is for Druid.
Looking at all the comments on this thread made me cringe and I don't even play jade druid nor should I care that blizzard will or will not do something to jade druid.
I personally love Jade. Really fun deck to play, actually have never had more fun crushing people with endless stream of golems. As long as someone is having fun what's the problem? If you don't like playing against Jade then don't play; I certainly haven't noticed my queue times going up.

I agree with the funny part of endless golems, im a jade player too but RIGHT NOW, there´s no answer to the auctioneer-jade idol combo, its sort of miracle play between turn 8 and 12 the druid just can play 6 golems 8/8, get 12 armor, 8 cards on hand, 12 jade idols left in the deck. Its super fast-slow deck that usually never struggles on the card draw, and i think the problem its the auctioneer, without that you can fill the deck with lot of card draw but you wont be as unstopable as now.
You cant play around anything on jade because its just always the same game, "try to rush the face before he eats you", thats the brainless part of the deck, forces all decks to be FASTER, not clever, you cant play around and infite army of big guys for 1 mana each. For aggro decks its fine, but RIGHT NOW druid has feral rage and earthen scales, wich are cheap spells with very abusive defensive power imposible to fight for control win conditions
Jade druid only runs 2 wrath 2 swipe as removals ( and if you can play them because most of the time its not the best play in your hand ) its a deck that never really tries to fight for the board, its a silly, simple, dull, way of make a "ramp druid strategy style".
Move auctioneer to hall of fame and you will see how jade druid drastically changes

Good to see someone else who plays the deck and understands it post here.
People who have fundamentally nothing to say will by definition refer to that thread.
If that was all I posted in this thread, you might have a point. It wasn't. You don't.
So if you have something to say don't refer to that thread. It is an easy but rather unfair and disrespectful way to handle people who don't agree with you. Debate by argument.
I made substantive points in this thread. And I linked to the salt thread when it was clear the OP was just salty. And I refuted your assertion that those that link to the salt thread have nothing to contribute. You probably want to move along.
You used an out dated tier list as support for your bad opinion and then linked the salt thread when like 4 people pointed out how almost everything you said was wrong. You're the one embarrassing yourself here, dude XD
As we now see from the latest meta data post the rogue quest nerf, Jade Druid is a Tier 2 deck not Tier 1. I knew I was right.
