You used an out dated tier list as support for your bad opinion and then linked the salt thread when like 4 people pointed out how almost everything you said was wrong. You're the one embarrassing yourself here, dude XD
I linked to deck win percentages from the last four days. Think before posting next time.
The biggest and quitessential problem of this card game is the community itself not being able by means of divide and rule to unite against crappy, unethical and unbalanced card design. Because all threads complaining about this or that archetype come down to why certain cards or deck types see light. Picking on each other is the best way to make Brode a very satisfied individual.
Why do you think he acts like a rapper-idiot?
The game is so horrific you frequent a fansite dedicated to it.
Why the fuck would someone ever think that aggro decks are those that are killing control? Control decks are ment to kill aggro. Greedy decks with a lot of value are those that control decks can't hande. For me, as a control warrior player, is really great when i see, for example, aggro/evolve shaman. I am farming free victories against them. So, decks like jade druid, or paladin decks, or priest with a lot of value are decks that are killing me. Vs aggro i just simply clear board till they run out of stuff to play and against decks with lot of value i try to burn them with Alextraza, Gromm and my wapons. Druid is too fucking strong. It's impossible to always clear their jades and bc of their enormous armor gainig it's impossible to kill them in any way.
P.D. Jade Idol is the problem; not the Jade Mechanics as a whole before any illuminated rank 23 comes here and say that Jade is cancer and he already knew the mechanics were going to be cancer before it even released.
gadgetzan auctioneer will go to hof and jade druid will be fine
I hope they don't touch gadgetzan aucioneer or at least moving it to rogue set, just fix jade idol I play wild a lot and I hope they won't fill it with broken decks
Don't know if this was said already but there are (in fact) a few control decks that can beat jade druid, one of which is Mill-Bounce-Nzoth Rogue.
Ah yes, the good ol' Exodia of Rank 20. Playing a deck to counter a specific other deck, is the epitome of the mentality "Rock-Paper-Scissor," the mentality that was bred during MSoG because of the polarizing archetypes such as, wait for it, Jade Druid!
There is this problem in the metagame, that it will always make HS move forward with RPS mentality, this counters that, that gets countered by it, it gets countered by this.
I respect clever deckbuilding, but playing a deck that has less than 40% chance of winning vs. the majority of the metagame, in order to compete with 1 only deck of the metagame, is extremely wrong.
As others mentioned before in this thread, the problem is not "countering" Jade Druid, the problem is the toxicity of Jade Druid, with mechanisms that break the game. A deck that can cheat fatigue, whilst building constantly more powerful bodies on the board, is equivalent to a disease. The fact that it can clutch victories against aggro with big taunts and AoE/Earthen Scales, and completely dominate games vs. control, should put Jade Druid as an archetype to watch.
Jade Idol as the mere problem with this archetype, should have been:
1 Mana Spell: Choose One: Summon a Jade Golem; Or Shuffle 2 copies that summon a Jade Golem to your deck.
This would potentially limit the power of Jade Druid, whilst not allowing them to cheat fatigue. The shuffled card would still cost 1 mana only, and would only Summon a golem. Hence, it wouldn't be an Idol, but just a token. This is just a quick idea so there are flaws in it, but at its current state, Jade Idol represents more problems than the eye sees.
The problem playing against Jade is that on slower games you can clear their entire board and it doesn't have much impact. They can immediately play 3 cheap cards and they've got a 7/7, 8/8, and 9/9 starting down at you again.
gadgetzan auctioneer will go to hof and jade druid will be fine
When do the devs plan to HoF him? If I recall correctly, this will happen by the time of the third rotation, aka when the whole MsoG expansion and all of the jades move to wild...
So jade dudu will be fine in standard, because there won't be any jades anymore.
Tbh the origin of this problem are aggro decks. Control decks cannot tech against both Jade and billion aggro decks we have running around. If you could make your deck top end heavy you could easily destroy Jade druids.
Why would you tech against aggro + jades? You take your bad matchups (every archetype has them) and move on. You can't have good winrate against everything. That would be like aggro player complaining he can't do well against taunt warrior and has to slow down to tech against it. No - you take your losses and beat jades, combo decks and such. If you like control and say there are "billion aggro decks around" - win against aggro and lose against jades. You will still climb easily.
You people don't understand that some players (me included) don't like control decks. I don't want to play 15-minute chess-Hearthstone games. I just want to win as fast as possible.
Honestly the only part of the Jade Druid package that bothers me is Earthen Scales. Before that control decks could and did beat them (though it was still a bad match up) by emphasizing whatever tempo plays they could make, often with a burst finish to close the game out before the jades started to dominate (Grom, Mages burn, or Leeroy + Power Overwhelming in MSoG).
I even think it made most control decks more "healthy" as it forced them to rely on an actually finisher rather than just remove all your opponents threats until they die of fatigue (yawn).
Now however with both Earthen Scales and Feral Rage in rotation at same time they have the ability to heal out of range of most control decks finishers, which is a definite problem.

I hate Jade Druid....but I'd rather face a million Jade Druids in a row than a single mill rogue aka worst deck ever! And it's not that's it's a difficult matchup...I probably have a 90+% win percentage against mill rogue....it's just that it's seriously the most annoying approach to the game that has ever been invented. BY FAR.
wow...just wow...quest rogue kept jade druid in check and off the ladder and had a 42% win rate overall...you people...the same people who are posting in this thread, cried loud enough to get a fine card NERFed...now you want another NERF?
participation trophies was a really poor idea, eh?
It's an extremely polarized match-up and promotes brainless aggro.
1. jade is not aggro (better infinite tempo)
2. jade is not brainless
3. yes, jade idol is extremely unbalanced. I saw a signature once with a jade idolshuffling 3 jade golems into the deck. It seems okay
Nice to see such an intelligent person like you playing hearthstone PogChamp. He was referring to the fact that to beat jade druid you need a hyper aggo deck, hence promoting brainless aggro and pushing out the control who hold in check aggro, but don't stand a chance against jade druid. (Not english native speaker, sry for misspronouncing stuff)

These are two different topics. Nerf Jade Idol was already screamed, before the card came out, before Un'Goro was even announced. Please, don't confuse these two topics.
The QR nerf was needed. Jade Idol on the other hand shouldn't even exist in its current form. Distinguish the one from the other, alright?
Have you ever considered that The Caverns Below was printed to soft NERF Jade Idol?
...and it worked for just that until the crying game began...
TCB was NERFed into oblivion simply because a small number of people cried loudly...and quite honestly this is what you all deserve
I'm pretty sure Gadgetzan Auctioneer is already in the crosshairs, even if they aren't yet ready to announce it. Since it's a huge part of this deck's success, I think most concerns will be alleviated if it goes to the Hall of Fame.

The Caverns Below has been nerfed. Now, lets hit Jade Idol.

We shouldn't nerf broken (jade golem) with more broken (caverns below). Just fix the problem at the root.
