Hey humans! I've compiled a "popularity" tier listing based on HSReplay.net data over the last 7 days, available here.
The left column shows overall playrate of each class, as well as the playrate of the archetypes of each class. While the right column shows the overall playrate of each archetype, ordered by popularity.
Rather than create a tier listing based on either winrate data or "presumed power level", I've decided to create a list designed to give additional insight into what percentage of individual archetypes you are likely to encounter on ladder. This can be used to help make informed decisions about which decks to play, and which matchups to tech against and keep in mind.
Note that this data has been collected at a particularly volatile time, with recent balance changes in the middle of the week no doubt shaking things up. It'll be interesting to see how these numbers compare to what the meta will look like next week.
Check back next Friday (July 21st!) for the second edition. :)
Can't believe that many people are playing Jade Druid......
Yeah, seems like it skyrocketed in popularity immediately after the Quest Rogue nerf. Honestly expected, it's worst matchup is now gone and it can prey pretty hard on the fact that control decks are rising in popularity.
See on Reddit.
