I was hoping for a bit of a slower meta with the new quest cards coming in, but apparently half of them can be completed by turn 4, and then you lose the game on turn 5. I've tried to make a Jungle Giants deck work but I just can't seem to even survive past turn 7 against quest hunters, quest shamans and quest rogues. They say pirate warriors are bad, but these new aggro quest decks have completely overtaken the meta and they're far worse than anything we've ever seen before. I seriousely suggest blizzard nerfs the shit out of them or else arena will be the only thing keeping me here.
Is anyone with me or do you all just go to play these cancerous aggro decks yourself?
I'm playing a midrange hunter and it's doing fine against all three quest archetypes. It has taken me from rank 19 to 11 and I'm currently on a win streak. Jeweled Macaw and Rat Pack are definitely the MVPs (Macaw for the draw and Rat pack for the tokens on board). And personally, I love Dinomancy and being able to buff up anything on my board.
Plus, its only been 24 hours. I'm sure the community will come up with counters to all the agro decks (I'm thinking Taunt Warrior is one of them). There are so many taunts in this expansion, there has to be some viable control decks

Quit complaining and just have fun with this game!
I agree with you completely Fishtard. I have been playing Handlock and this expansion is no exception. Although, quest Shamans and Hunters are not that bad, quest Rogues are getting out of control. They complete the quest turn 4 and there is nothing you can do. Blizzard needs to fix quest Rogue ASAP. It is literally plaguing the game as you win or lose base on the Rogues hand. Also, Taunt warrior does not beat an endless wave of 5/5's. The problem is not that they are aggro, but you do not have time to make any important decisions before you win or lose. Also, if you can't put pressure on the Rogue when the Rogue finishes the quest he can vanish and kill you. Beyond this, even pirate warrior allowed for reaction from the opposing play(still quest Rogue gives me the same vibes as pirates from msg).
The take away from this is- BLIZZARD PLEASE NERF ASAP!
Ranking up with Water Warrior very well so far. Been destroying the Quest Rogue, Taunt Warrior, Murloc Rush decks. "Usually" I kill them by turn 6'ish. You just kill them before they have time to do anything. Pushing on Rank 9 with an 11 game win streak with this deck.

I'll also say the reasoning behind me playing Water Warrior is until the meta settles down, I have 12k dust, I don't want to craft Legendaries that might end up sucking, I'll wait till I see whats doing well "then" craft stuff.
Ok bye. I find it a lot more fun trying to counter decks than just clicking buttons and having a screen tell me "victory." Thats the fun of the game which seems to be lost in the pity party of the last year.
More to point, aggro and mid range always establish themselves first. Control will get there eventually.
Adios. We just had a meta dominated by pirate warrior and you want to wait for the fun to come back? Good luck pal. I'll have fun playing new decks instead of crying about the new meta.
Had some great games, a blast so far. You understand that the designers don't intend that most games to go to fatigue right? Perhaps just not the right game for you.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
I remember when Blizzard would make some cards with good effects, and through experience and spectating you would play these cards together to get all you minions buffed in one turn instead of just.
N'Zoth quest priest with some clear, some taunts, and steals seems to do the trick for everything. So far I am 16-3 with it. Beat out the quest rogues and quest hunters. Lost to another priest, one loss to pirate warrior that had insane best of rng, and a mage. Everything else were good games and some of them close, but a good timed 40 health boost and an 8/8 taunt got me back in the game for the win.

were you the guy that bounced Amara like twice against my quest Rogue? the first two Amaras were easy to deal with, but the third Amara jsut killed me

Play shadowstep twice
Reward: All of your minions are 5/5
When you're being called an aggro deck for doing nothing on turn 1 you know the OP is clueless.
