Well, I'm trying to build a reno mage deck and I'm currently stuck on this question. I know Medivh is actually the slowest option, but does it make the card worse than Antonidas in the current meta? Also, should I consider the version of the deck without both of them?
Probably, the answer is Antonidas. There are many Ooze's in the current meta, and Anto is a win-condition on its own. Provided you know when to play him (when you have exhausted your opponent's answers)

I play with antonidas alexstrasza burgler bully and emperor as my lategame package. Burgler bully and emperor support antonidas to generate a massive amount of fireballs, alexstrasza burns maximum of 15 hp on her own and then u finish the job with the generated fireballs
Can you get value out of the bully in most of the matches?
Definitely Tony or neither. Medivh is too slow and too easy to deal with and doesn't do much that the deck needs. The deck is already good at outgrinding your opponent but sometimes loses when it doesn't close the game fast enough. I feel Tony is really underrated in Reno Mage. He's really good at winning games that you were not supposed to win and works really well with the resurrection potion plus Manic Soulcaster. Some people have started running Pyroblast but I've had more success with Tony.
I think the only real benefit to using Medivh right now is most Reno Mage decks don't run it, so opponents aren't expecting it. But, as someone else mentioned with all the Ooze's running around it's an easy counter. Your only way of using it is for the opponent to use Ooze early and then you pull out Medivh. However, when you do pull it off, it's very effective.
Over Antonidas, if you do not have that card, I think Medivh is a good replacement. Antonidas is definitely a better late game play though.
None. Antonidas is tempo oriented, unless you have your opponent below 15 and have activators when you play it all you'll do is create 2 fireballs that you'll have a hard time deciding whether or not to run into your opponent's face or one of his minions. Reno mage doesn't play tempo style, nor will you find yourself getting your opponent down to a burnable amount. I just cut in Solia to be able to play my 10 cost Kazakus potions on turn 7. Even that combo requires a bit of draw luck.

There is nothing tempo oriented about tony. You pay 7 for a weakish body and play a bunch of spells that cost the same as if he wasn't on the table. He's a win condition and a hail mary attempt against decks that haven't drawn their removal for him (or doesn't have any in their deck)that would otherwise win if you give them too much time (Jade Druid and Dragon Priest for instance), he stops renolock from turning into Jaraxxus or just force them to play out Reno pre-maturely and generally he just gives the deck another angle to attack from.
Antonidas is kind of an answer to jade decks. Medivh can bring the game to the new level when facing other Reno decks, but I don't know about playing him.

It honestly depends on your deck. You would have to post your deck for us to help you out with that decision.

Archmage Antonidas -- I tried Medivh, the Guardian for awhile, then caved. The extra reach is a lot better for the late game than Medivh.
If you also have Rhonin, then Archmage for sure. I use both in my N'Zoth Reno Mage.
