Does anyone else feel like Mean Streets might be the first expansion where you don't cringe when you see the familiar orange glow around a card? We don't have any absolute trash legendaries like The Boogeymonster or The Skeleton Knight this time around. There are a few legendaries I wouldn't want like Shaku, the Collector or Genzo, the Shark but otherwise every class got either a cool legendary or a useful one, it looks like all three of the gangs got a useful leader, and quite a few neutrals like Patches the Pirate are already making big waves in the meta.
I agree...the legendaries are pretty solid for this expansion. I think a reason for that is many of them aren't 7-8-9 mana cards. Plus, with the faction mechanics, they have definitely created a lot of cool concept decks.
Now, only time will tell if we will have a diverse meta. Hopefully we have a lot of choices between tier 1 and 2 decks to play.

Quit complaining and just have fun with this game!
speaking of legendaries, any advices on what to craft? I got Madam goya, Solia, That pally one and Aya from MSOG. But i'm still missing a lot of classic ones (i'm a new player, less then a year playing), like Leeroy, VanCleef, Grommash, I dont have Fandral either. Not very lucky opening packs. :\
Madam Goya and Mayor Noggenfogger are pretty bad. I was excited about the Mayor but he's just too expensive. At 7 or 8 mana he would be at least playable for fun but at 9 mana he's basically unplayable. Madam Goya, I didn't open, but she looks like utter shit.
forgot to mention that he was the 1st legendary I unpacked. I also have sylvannas, thalnos, all adventures, justicar, but none of the class legendaries :\
Out of 20 legendaries 4 are completly unplayable, 4 are very borderline
WotG had 6 unplayables and 4 borderline
the borderline from msg are arguably better, so i agree with the OP. But actually that only means you need to buy more packs/spend tons of dust to get all the neccessary legendaries.
Mayor Noggenfogger was disappointing indeed. Not because it of the fact that it is bad, but because it wasn't random enough. If only it worked like misdirection. Just imagine the havoc it would have caused.

People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.
True. Actually made a murloc pally buff deck and having tons of fun with it! I would have preferred others, but making the most of it for sure. Odd thing is Finja is kind of slow and most of the time doesn't even affect my games.

You clearly didn't open Madam Goya. I also got shaku, genzo, and Mayor Noggenfogger...

Ragnaros is must have :)
Adventurewise LoE is the absolute best. But yes considering real expansions Id say MSG is way above Old Gods and Grand Tournament.

Why is everyone shitting on Madam Goya? It has one of the coolest effects in the game.
Agreed for the most part. Of course the first three legendaries I opened in packs were Shaku, the Collector, Mayor Noggenfogger & Finja, the Flying Star ... so yea.
Don't knock Finja! That card is actually good.
