I feel that rogue has been kind of forgotten and its been eating me to take a shameless plug at a deck idea and hope it entices people to go outside the box a bit.
In what way has rogue been forgotten? its this week's 4th most played class, and everyone loved that stranglethorn tiger combo list. also, historian is kinda bad, IMO. its not the kinda thing you want. card advantage of usually high cmc dragons on a 1/3 body that doesn't kill anything? why.

I just wanted to see how abused I could make it so figured why not I think its actually solid as a card its body is crap but it loads the late game options down the line also and i just wanted to ploy at a way to abuse barnes and nether spite. I did a more extensive write up on the idea.
Also all the talk is paladin / warrior / how bad priest is.
I mean, it was more the release of a bad priest card at a time when people already were complaining, but dragon priest did get a lot of useful control dragons this time around with BookWyrm filling out the 6 drop slot away from Draconid crusher.

Oh i agree that dragon priest did get some useful stuff. As did options for dragon paladin i just wanted to do dragon rogue cause nothing is really coming up for rogue really at the moment except the same deck in 12 different ways. This may not be viable even with tweaking but i wanted to abuse netherspite historian and see what it could do loading your hand for twilight drakes isnt a horrid idea not to mention odd chance barnes pulls deathwing dragon lord and you fill the field.

While, yes the 1/3 body is bad, it does help in enabling combos, while gaining card advantage. And I imagine that card was meant to be put in a deck with much more of the lower costing dragons, with the idea that it's a pretty safe bet it'll give you a big legendary dragon.
Just trying to look on the bright side of things here.
Well thats exactly the idea you use a few removals to try and control aggro start counter playing on turn 4 with twilight drake and twilight guardian drake having an above average size body with the card generation. The idea you can shadow step the historian also increases your odds on pulling guardians or twilight drakes to replace the existing if needed as well. They deck itself will probably have to be tuned vs aggro but rogue in general currently doesn't have the most favorable match vs aggro.
