What decks do you guys run? Right now im running with Midrange Hunter and it's meh, went on a win streak, and then an 8 game loss streak. What got you to legend this season?
I find the lack of card draw in midrange hunter to make it a tough deck to pilot. A very good one, but not the easiest to play.
As Toymachine said, midrange shaman is similar but a bit easier to play. If you take a couple of weeks to learn the ins ans outs of the deck, rank 5 is not that hard to get.
And man, never let yourself lose that many games in a row ^^. You lose three in a row, go do something else, get back to hearthstone the next day.

Midrange Shaman? Can you point me in the direction?
Midrange Hunter is great when it works, but lack of draw and board clears makes it easily beatable if your opponent knows what they are doing. I recommend playing for fun, not for rank, because that's boring.. But if you have to have rank 5 for the rewards.. Aggro shaman or zoolock are probably the cheapest decks that will get you there without any real effort

Eh, i kinda wanna play to get the chest man.
So play aggro shaman or zoo like I said.. You can rank 5 with midrange Hunter easily too
I mean, you can try the deck in my signature. It's very similar to mid hunter though, so if you didn't do well with that deck, it's unlikely that beast druid would work any better.
I used miracle rogue, which was a big accomplishment for me (never hit legend, second time hitting rank 5), because of the skill level of miracle rogue.

don't the card draw need to be gd? need tat combo with leeroy at the rite time
I used my own version of renolock. Winstreak from rank 10 to rank 4. I lost to a shaman (but i beat all the shamans along the way (duh)). Would be more than happy to share my decklist if you're into it.

On average you draw well with miracle, otherwise it wouldn't be played at all. You don't "need" any combo with leeroy. Leeroy is mostly in the deck to ensure that you get value from coldbloods. In almost all matchups, you use cold bloods on other minions for pressure, if you can.

Using own version gives me much more success too. I understand a deck better. Not that net decking does not give me insights, but I'm just more successful with my own decks. Maybe less predictable too.
What I get from netdecking is the basic shell of the deck to work. Just put in your own choices then bam, new deck.
It is all about what you know how to play. Even if a deck is better than the one you are currently using, you will do better with the deck you know. I like to spend the first 10 days or so of the season playing a deck that I am not used to playing and get better at it. I was using Miracle and Malygos druid to rank 7, then got to rank 5 in a quick hour with this deck.

I'm stuck at rank 4 :(

Like, rip me.

This list is pretty good and relatively cheap:

face shaman, 15 to 5 in 2 days, now I can get my rank 5 chest :D

Seems ok.

I used this deck from 20 to 5 this season with an ~80% winrate
