What are your initial impressions of Shaman in Standard?
Are there any Shaman decks that you love to play as?
Are there any Shaman decks you can't stand playing against?
What are your initial impressions of Shaman in Standard?
Top tier. Finally is time for shaman to shine. Very soon the ladder will be "shaman decks" and "decks who counter shaman"
Are there any Shaman decks that you love to play as?
Midrange. For me will be like Secret paladin: Everyone playing aggro until sees the midrange version is way better. Flamewreathed Faceless is soo good thats looks broken...

The aggro ones are very annoying, but most of my decks are set up to play againt it so I'm not hating too much.
New shaman cards seem good, however I find that a lot of the new cards cluster around the midgame leaving you weak to decks with strong early game. Imo shaman needs a one or two more good cards to play on turns 1-3 to make it truly top tier. That said I'm sure there are a couple standard builds that will be fairly competitive with the new cards.
Love playing as midrange and JUST got my golden Thrall, which happens to also be my first.
Right now (and just after launch especially) one of the biggest advantages of midrange is that most people assume that you are aggro and play badly for the first few turns. Hilarious to see something like execute against a Tunnel Trogg or Totem Golem....

I was a bit surprised to find that I'd pulled the right Shaman cards and could muster a Evolve netdeck with just a couple substitutions, and it's a strong deck, without Eternal Sentinel , which I won't craft soon.
Good to see Shaman getting some love, I liked it best when I started, but found it too weak and drifted away.
With my Reno decks I hate to see Shaman, esp mid-range - tapping puts my death within range of their spells; but that's life.
In a meta with a lot of single-coin-flip decks, Shaman evolve has lots of smaller RNG events which I find more pleasing.
Ah, aggro: Fast games with a high winrate. If I had found a deck so far that counters it with high likelihood (a-la Hunter with SecPally in the previous meta), then I'd be running that, even if net-net the deck was not as efficient because of weakness against other decks.
They should nerf Doomhammer and Tunnel Trogg. Trogg should be 1 mana 1/3 whenever you cast an overload card gain 1 attack. Doomhammer should be 5 mana 3/4 Windfury Overload (1),
Evolve is way too good for its mana cost. You basically attack with all your minions. evolve heals them and essentially buffs them. I don't know why they thought it was a good idea. It's like shaman been bad so long they didn't know what to do so they went ape shit.

2 Flamewreathed Faceless, 1 Doomhammer and go to town.
Having a blast, Seems very varied.
Yogg Saron Shaman
Nope
All of them.

Very strong, with a lot of options
A midrange zoo C'thun Evolution hybrid with card draw and very little overload. Very resilient and consistent deck
Aggro can be annoying
Master of Evolution
My thoughts are that Shamans could use a little bit of those nerfs that Blizzard pissed all over Druids.
what this guy said .... and I would like to change Doomhammer with Eternal Sentinel

Plot Twist
I'm here looking for a counter to the aggro shamans I get wrecked by every single game. Everyone is running the same deck now.

I haven't yet, though. Sorry.

SEVERELY OVERPOWERED!
4 for a 7/7 is beyond broken.
0 mana for a 5/5 taunt...broken.
Its hands down the most played deck I've faced on ladder (ranks12-10) over the last 3 days. So annoying.
Why nerf BGH? Why nerf Ironbeak Owl? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
