How dare you? You dare question his 10 minutes totall play time vs that boss? Why are you against everyone having this cardback? Everyone deserves to beat said boss with 0 effort!! Are you a racist? He paid 0$ for this! He deserves this free content, which totally defines your gameplay in everyway you can imagine!!!!

also, played thru the monster hunt three times to see if it was really so easy, it was...and never lost to this one. at first the 6/3's reshuffle and draw a card seem OP but then you just play conservative, keep her board under control and wait for her to play cult master/doom and mill her
Don't even pretend this boss isn't poorly balanced.
You can't fatigue her even if you burned three of her followers, she can turn your win conditions into her own win conditions, she is immune to smorcing, she has ridiculous board clear that doesn't let you dominate the board, and her draw engine is ridiculous enough to ensure she will never miss her removals when she need it, she starts three mana ahead of you, her minions are super cheap for their stateline, et al.
Seriously guys, it is one thing for the boss to be difficult, it is another for it to be borderline impossible, and keep in mind that this is all coming from someone who has beaten dungeon runs by all 9 classes.
Everything else about monster hunt is just fine. But not her. Some of the above need to be taken from her, like she can only be immune if she has two or more minions on board.
To whoever that cares, I beat it. Didn't change my opinion of her one bit. She is still poorly balanced as far as I am concerned and the only real way of beating her is still lucking out with a good deck, good draw, good treasures, good synergy and poor draw from her part.
She doesnt need a nerf. Half the fun of these things is the outright bs that happens. Sometimes they get to do it and sometimes you get to. Also making a deck that you know can beat her only to lose to someone else is pretty fun. Play for the experience not just for the packs and card back.
I mean you get a card back from the whole deal, but remember doing older bosses on heroic, if you think Glinda needs a nerf jesus!
And having hard bosses isn't a bad thing, remember the Lich King!
That is the thing. With Lich king and older heroic bosses I could build my deck around them specifically. With this, the control is taken out of my hand and I am just collecting random shit in hopes of it being able to defeat a borderline impossible boss.
sorry but the difference is too big.
Your nemesis is made by desighn to be hard, like how Tess's final boss has Loteb and Troggzor and a big weapon all of which Tess can't interact with she has no weapon removal and little board presence even with jades most of them come from spells.
There is still a deckbuilding aspect, maybe you really find the last boss so hard that you would pick a different bucket even thou your synergy might be lacking, its a similar system to the arena mode the random aspect keeps it interesting, fresh and a bit tediously hard!

Knowing how to fight her and using rng are two different things. I beat her with my first run on shaw using one +2 attack and changing my playstyle the minute I saw what she played like. You really just need to be very adaptable and switch to a slower playstyle against her. None of the bosses should take more than three attempts, because while it is full of Rng being able roll with that is what makes you win. This was far easier than dungeon runs for me, but it did have some tough bosses and I think that's good. The bosses are harder in a way, but I was confident I could win with most of my drafts. It doesn't help your case that she never changes and is always the same boss so you can tech against her every time.
I had a similar first run experience with Glinda as Shaw, I had the +2 on my hounds and +1+1 but I was offered a pretty crappy overall minion draft, yes it can be very frustrating and by the responses you can see how the variables effect each individuals game (playstyle and draft) . for some it seemed easy and others not so much, that is the nature of the beast as it were, you just keep trying...
From my not too long experience in dungeon run and monster hunt (7/9 DR and 2/4 WH) there is about one or two ways to win in each class, and if you don't happen to get what you need, you just get fucked and start over. Like, you can only win with Houndmaster if your hounds are 3/3s because else you get fucked by glinda, or you can only win with Toki if you get "the first spell each turn is played twice" and the quest (and it is still far from guaranteed win), Tess and jade shurikens, etc. Su just start over and hope you get lucky because not much skill is involbed here
I found her to be super easy but I got lucky in that she played cult master when she had a 2 of those 2/2 splinters and 4 1/1 splinters on the board. I was also fortunate enough to have two unleash the hounds and was able to burn the vast majority of her deck.
Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
I know it is harsh but anyone who thinks that anyone of final bosses in moster hunter runs hard is not good at this game, simple as that. I am pretty sure you choose the wrong packages/cards and make tons of misplays.
Same shit happened to me too. Short answer: nothing. Long answer. In my runs as Shaw i don't think he actually has indirect aoe. You can pray for Fiery Bat's ping to hit Blood Imp or maybe you can get Exploding Bloatbat in your draftt, but that's all kinda unrealistic.
So, if she gets Blood Imp from Kabal Trafficker and does not kill it with her own aoe (Doom, Abyssal etc, etc), it's pretty much a restart. Sucks, but that's how Blizzard works. Your run ends simply because of RNG you can't control.
For some, like myself, I like my games to be challenging.
So, I understand, that this challenge might be frustrating for some players and cause them to "Not having fun". So look at it from different angle, would you be more satisfied with defeating the boss after 100 attempts, or 10?
10? Why on earth would I choice 100, at that point the novelty of it would wear off and any satisfaction I might have had from beating it would transform into annoyance. Also, I don't dislike difficult bosses or wouldn't have bothered with Heroics, I just dislike it when the only way of dealing with the boss is to luck out, and not just lucking out in draws and stuff, but lucking out in deck building.
I don’t remember the encounter beyond having it, it was very easy in my side, overall Monster Hunt was kind of easy.
She is the only boss i managed to defeat, with my 1st try against here
i picked the treasure that gives my hounds 2 attack two times so they can be a 5/1 with rush, no one could stop me with that hero power

just mill her when she plays ccultmaster ez
She is literally the easiest in the set.

Uh, not sure how hard she is normally, but the AI is horrible.
She literally played doom on a full board with a full hand and burned her entire deck. It almost couldn't have been easier.
Idk man I've bitten her in my first run so I can't agree with you
