I highly disagree with the other bosses being fine though. Azalina is actually badly designed and can appear for all classes rather than being a Nemesis to a specific one, which means if you are Darius or even Tess you will have an easy time, but as Toki or Shaw it is nearly impossible.
This guy knows what's up. Beating Witch hunt with Shaw is basically just praying you dont get Azalina. Final boss is hard but not impossible, and doesn't require 'insane rng' like op suggested either. Not even close to some of the Heroic bosses from Blackrock Mountain, which required you to adopt and practice a popularized religion to win.
I beat her my first try using a deathrattle shaw deck + double deathrattle passive. She's not impossible.
I did it with a late game beast deck with double +2 damage on the hounds. If you tailor a deck that synergizes with itself these bosses are actually all relatively easy
I forget what the package name was, but you get offered the Druid Quest and lots of big beasts. I think, if you go down that tree, you're also more likely to be offered the spell that discards minions and does face damage equal to their attack.

imagine if the deck you used was meta in standard xD
I had lunar signet and scepter of summoning. Three hadronoxes made a slow but comfortable win late game, with my sleeping dragons and other big taunts. And yes, you can draw her to fatigue, she'll misplay cause she's the AI. If she only has a cultist in play she takes fatigue damage
+2 Hound damage is a strong buff for this fight, given her 6/3's she likes to summon. And don't overextend if you have board control because of Twisting Nether and Doom!.
However, both times I beat her I milled her deck away. The Cult Master card is key, and I made sure it was left up while I picked off the other minions (assuming her hand was near full), which caused her to lose a bunch of her deck. Milling her deck seems to be the best course of action, at least in the few times I played her.
I don't know how, but Houndmaster Shaw was the only one I beat in my first play through. Also the only one I've beaten in general haha.
The +2 hound strength thing is veerrry important though. Besides that, I donno what else I had. I think I actually used Shaw's Shank and I just out tempo'd her until she died.

I just beat Glinda on my first play through. (I let my son play my early quests so I hadn't played Houndmaster until today). It was by far the easiest for me. [Won on my first play through with Cannoneer too, Tracker took me about 10 tries- finally basically beat it with a single misdirection card :) ] For this run I didn't use shaws shank much and had pretty crappy gifts. 2 extra cards at start, extra mana, sack of Gnomes. I went for a big beast deck. 2 call of the wild, 3 Kathrena Winterwisp, 2 Charged Devisaur, 1 Highmane, and the crown jewel 2 Dire Frenzy. Played Glinda pretty even until I had 8 mana then it was all over for her. Now its off to Time-Tinker I've tried once and only made it about 1/2 way through. I think Monster hunt has been pretty damn fun. Well done Blizzard.

This is it really. Use the Cult Master to mill her. Once it dies and she has exhausted her deck, user your minions to clear her board always killing one of the 6/3 minions last; that way her immunity drops and she draws and takes fatigue damage. I mean with the Cult Master up when she uses her Voidlords it's a chance to mill her 4 cards if you have board presence.
Ofc this means you have a deck strong enough to keep clearing her board. Companionship is pretty much needed unless you got Scepter of Summoning and good Legendary buckets.
On one account I beat all the bosses and the final witch battle on my first try, but on my second account Shaw vs. Crowskin was an absolute struggle to say the least:
The draft above that finally won was Lunar signet/Entrenchment with Hadronox. Lunar signet because Hadro becomes a tempo play from hand as well as insurance against AoE, and entrenchment because it lets you take value trades into tokens early game letting you get to your taunts/also buffing the taunt wall res; ended up out valuing her into fatigue. The first time I beat her I just drafted every houndmaster/animal companion/beast buff I saw and it ended up winning. Both methods probably work fine.
Coming from a legend player/having completed all adventures including Witchwood and Kobold's, I also agree that Crowskin is OP. But does she need nerfing? No! Nerfing PvE hearth is stupid, and it wouldn't be fun if it wasn't challenging. Something I would also like to mention is other heroes have ways of beating Gnomenapper, but if you run into him as Shaw, just concede and go next.

Why does Vicious Fledgling exist

I beat her on my first try with the Druid Quest.
It was fatigue and she had all three 6/3 dudes every turn and at one point she just stopped playing them and exploded O.o

I literally just beat her, on my first attempt.

P.S. Even had a couple misplays
