I beat Toki on my first try with no research. Whenever you use unstable portal or any of those random effects, if you dont like the outcomes hit that hero power and do it again. That' how I beat it. Even arcane missiles, not good targets, do it again.
Toki was definitely the hardest boss for me, but i eventually cleared it with her with 2x Double Time and Open the Waygate. I'm honestly surprised i made it through that run tho, because my deck had absolutely no cohesion or synergy. The only reason i completed my quest was thanks to Infinite Toki's Spellslingers. And then i took four turns in a row. That was fun.

On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
I cleared her on my first attempt; I went Entrenchment and Double Time to make my critters trade better and resource creation better, and then picked mechs. On Infinite Toki, I cheesed out value minions every turn and eventually played Blingtron 3000; I got Hammer of Twilight, she got Charged Hammer which downgraded her hero power. I got the compass that let me cheese out free Azure Drakes which I used to buff a Curio Collector, along with Arcane Intellect.
In other words, I got insanely lucky but Double Time is an awesome pick that makes things easier.
Before I came here searching for an advice, I tried around 7 times to finish a run with her. And I don't know why, but I always got screwed by RNG and lost those games because of it.
Then I came here, saw the advice for taking the Quest, I got lucky and got the double spell treasure as well and on the 1st try I completed the Toki run.
Soo yeah. I also hate how much RNG is involved in that gnome, but there isn't another way out. At least there wasn't for me.
I beat Toki first try. I got two of the passives that reduce cost of cards you don't start with, then wild magic and one Mana wyrm. Toss in the mage quest and gg ez no re.
The boss that makes spells echo died to me on the first turn with arcane missiles. Seriously, it was too easy.
And only now I realize you have to build your deck around Infinite Toki, I got to her once with slow/big spell deck (4 pyroblasts, 2 Dr. Booms 3 dragoncallers...) and ended up doing nothing and getting chopped by her double Sorc Apprentice opener (btw is her opening hand rigged?).
Didn't have any counterspell to stop her from resetting the game when I was about to regain control so there's that.
She's the only one I beat first try. I got the treasure that sets your max card cost at 5, the treasure that starts you with an extra mana crystal, and a bunch of legendary card buckets.
Took me 80 heroes killed. Finally managed to get Infinit Toki down when I had deck with double Double Time and quest, AND x1 Counterspell I mulliganned for just to stop reset at turn 10.
There's just so much time to burn her when you have 4 turns in a row it gets to the point of being funny.
40+ runs still no win. I often get decent bonuses like double time and +3 spell damage, but in the same time I keep getting shitty cards, w/o any cheap spells. Damn RNG in this case is especially highh -.-
On my NA account I killed her on turn 8 with lots of greater arcane's, flamewakers and the double cast first spell pick.
On my EU account I had the minion that swaps hands, and I waited until she has completed her double turn quest. I played it and got 3 turns.
But Auctionmaster Beardo is MVP in these. When you get to the mana you can play him and a cheap spell to refresh your hero power you can have as many turns as you want to get the best RNG. Best not to leave him on the board if possible but keep in hand to enable a new turn whenever you need.
Helped me, i discovered the mage secret frost clone. She then used the minion that has +1/+1 for each spell cast. By turn 6 i had two 16/16's. This only worked with a specific set of treasures though so just lucky, i had the reduce spells by one. Meant that the whisperer was an instant OTK with arcane missiles. Fun run!
Fuck me, I HATE this one. Cleared the other three but Toki makes me want to crush any Garden gnomes I come across. Far worse than the Dungeon Run Warrior.
Toki needs to die in a fire seriously... I did the other three monster hunts within 2-3 runs.
I literally just restart after the first boss now if i I don't get the double spell... The RNG playing Toki is both fun and also the most maddening thing ever.
I haven't even reached the last boss yet and I've stopped counting my runs, even when I get the good treasures then I just get RNG'ed on the 6th or 7th boss every time with terrible draws or RNG.

I finished 8/8 with Toki on the first try. My loot boxes are Minions have 2 extra health and, Enemy minions costs 1 more.
For the last boss, I had Mana Wyrm and it got Duplicated, and then I used the minion that destroys a minion and fill hand with coins.
By turn 4-5, I had 3 Mana Wyrm with stats 10/5 and the boss had no way to clear them.

Its a fun cool card , ofc you cant play it. You need dmg to face or build your deck 100% around your deck.
Its just how bad the game has gotten
I taked double health twice. 4 ice blocks. 2 Antonys and Yogg. Win for me.
Im on my 20th run with her already... At this point I just restart the run if I don't get Double Time offered in first treasure.
Piloted Shredder, Knife Juggler, Mad Scientist, Dr. Boom

Turn 10 counterspell was enough for me. If she doesnt restart, she is not so difficult (she never uses her hero power for some reason?)
Occasionally gives helpful advice.
She does when she can reach lethal with it, but doesn't use it to maximize face value before trading with minions.

Finally got it, after 9th run... Big, discounted legendary minions did a great job.
