Okay, so how exactly does damage reduction work? It appears to be before critical damage and after doubling effects like the flamewaker trident or damage setting effects. Is it after weakness effects (like vol'jin)? I think so, but wasn't paying attention when my monstrous heart mutanus somehow took damage from Omogg's add (thus wiping as I'd only continued after getting heart due to stupidly getting a boon. Stupid boons.). Any other facets of this I should know?
Is it damage setting effects>doubling>weakness>reduction>critical? Or is there something I'm forgetting?
I'm looking for some clarity on the damage reduction mechanics as well. You are correct about critical damage being calculated after. Weakness as well. I had +6 frost weakness on Omakk, with a frost spell that would do 10 dmg before weakness calc. Omakk, with his 10 dmg reduction, still took 0 dmg. so, unless I did 11 dmg, my frost weakness was worthless.
