So, after the utter joke of Garr comes Geddon. What teams have people used to handle the boss? The trash isn't an issue, but that boss... owch. Any blue is oneshotted by the adds, and even red taunts (which basically has to be Cariel, because T1 taunts aren't common for some reason) get chewed through ridiculously fast. Can't find much that actually works here, had three or four wipes and can't see a way through. 0-cost abilities that repeat for opponents that haven't attacked yet seems ridiculous (and that starts on turn two?). Samuro, even with the cleave, barely tickles before death. Double blue and Cariel? Lose 1/turn, at least, even when the bomb hits with good luck.
Maybe a beasts team with Krush, Anacondra, and... someone. Maybe Mukla, though I doubt he'd survive to use anything reasonable? Krush feels ineffective too, being basically a physical attacker. Might burn down Geddon, but would get mangled by the adds in the process.
Do I just have to hope for the stupid heart treasure and cheese? Not really going to work for farming.
I killed Baron Geddon Heroic with 4 Mercenaries: Thrall, Garrosh, Rokara & Saurfang.
Start only with these 4 and try to get any damage reduction treasure like "Toughness" = All chars take X less dmg and "Warchief Blessing" = +10/20 and 5 less DMG taken for horde chars. Try to do Elite trash to get better treasures.
Use Garroshs Battle Shout with healing Equipment, Rokaras Offensive Rally with its equipment and Saurfangs Mobilizing Strike with its equipment to keep ur mercenaries stay alive.
At boss focus one green add after another and use your healing abilities mentioned above. When green adds are dead, there should be 2 or 3 mercenaries alive to finish the boss.

Cool, thanks - I'll have a go at getting those, readying them, and using them :)
Its been a while but I'm sure I used Anduin's Holy Nova to stabalise. My first run usually used Lich King, Diablo or Illidan Jaina or Millhouse, Anduin. I think the main thing is to have enough healing to keep you alive.

Erm, stupid question - how do you get 40-50 healing per turn on one target without just giving up all damage entirely? Example, 2x25 dam attacks plus AE repeated 3 times - how does any amount of healing handle that? And those AEs start turn 2. Just doesn't feel survivable.
Mutanus is a green with a turn one taunt with damage reduction.
So use that, spam the taunt, and hope to burn the boss/adds out in the 1.5-2 turns you buy with Mutanus? What are you using to burn the boss with here? Or are you spam healing mutanus and dealing no damage?
When I've managed to get these last two bosses (Geddon and Domo) down, I'm looking at farming them, so I'd prefer not to have to hope for specific treasures. Geddon's sheer damage output - particularly to reds and blues - is ridiculous. A speed zero 6 dam repeated for each opp that hasn't acted (doubled against reds, ofc) seems ridiculous when that's starting up T2 and has 50 damage of melee from greens to go with it. I've managed a draw (2HP left on the last add before I died) with good treasures, but my issue is that even with all mercs but LK and Illidan... most greens suck, in large part because they're taking huge chunks of damage from meleeing into 25 attack mobs. Best plan I can come up with is to try something mutanus-based? Still going to take ridiculous damage, though.
Maybe something like Malf/Guff/Mutanus for the passive heals, and Xy/Sam in the back with someone else (suggestions?)? Also allows for mutanus/heart shenanigans.
If you're gonna Heart Cheese with Mutanus, I'd stick Morgl in there to keep pumping up the hp, especially if you're gonna nature comp anyway (this gives you a bit more flexibility/insurance during the whole run)
Nature comp gets wrecked. T1 either Bru or Guff get hit for 100 (2x 25 attack minions), T2 Malf dies to the 48 damage plus attacks from adds (6 repeated three times due to speed zero, doubled). Or are you not talking about Malf/Bru/Guff and using some other nature comp?

Could try Morgl. I'd prefer not to rely on heart cheese (thinking damage reductin works well on fire stomp, mainly), but extra morgl health plus healing from Malf could work. So Malf/Morgl/Mut as primary team, with Xy/Sam/??? as a backup?
In case of doubt, I always aim for the old reliable "Mannoroth cheese". Unless they can attack him 4 times before your 5 speed attack plus health buff, it's a winning strategy for anything that doesn't freeze you to death.
Managed the flipper! 4 HCs to go! (rag + new ones - from the sounds of things Rend will require a different team, though Omogg should be doable due to Malf). Used Malf/Bru/Guff/Mut/Sam/Xyrella. Morgl/Mut/Malf just goes far too slowly, almost no damage output.
It was mainly the windfury treasure for Sam that got it done, and whilst Mutanus felt a bit underwhelming he was solid enough, I think (bolstered a LOT by cleaving luminance, that is just ridiculous). Probably the best taunt to use? Led with Xyrella (luminance cleave), Samuro (+4/+3 and WF), and Mutanus (Saronite, so utterly useless). Samuro died to T2's slow fire stomp (was only speed 3 for some reason), allowing me to get off an image. Switched in the nature team slowly and just burnt the rest. Malf was the only one left by the end, but that was without spelldam on any of the three (two of the 3 nature dam to random target for each spell, IRN Bru'kan had the bad cleaving bolt. Really bad treasures for 4/6 mercs, IMO - not a huge fan of the 3 dam per nature spell, particularly on Guff). Malf's 3 nature dam per spell was a brutal finisher, given that it was critical dam as only green adds were left. Lots of rooting after Geddon himself fell - every other turn I rooted. Does feel like the nature damage team kind of does everything sometimes, with 18 passive heal, Guff's burst and quasi-self heal with the taunt, Malf's speed increase and root, and muddy water for slowing.
Doubt I'd have made it without the two great treasures (though bomb on Sam is always good too, lends itself to a different strat) and good RNG on ties. Probably still better to farm it HC than N, I guess, given the rates (and that it should be cheesable with Mutanus/heart. Manno cheese feels like it'd fall to the stupidly strong fire stomps, but maybe not. Only 38 Illidan coins left, so not much grinding, at least :) Thanks for the assistance!
Also, in subsequent runs I've really learnt the hard way to focus those adds. Geddon himself is pretty weaksauce when not speed buffed, and particularly compared to the 25/300s.

Yeah I can’t beat him
oh, I wasn't suggesting that as a strat, just throwing that fact out there
I always just cheese (like Mukla/Krush with "To the Death")

Nature compo it's very easy

@Fusilli: Yeah my bad; I never noticed the Heroic part of your problem. I'll let you know if I get through it in future.
