FortyDust, don't worry, I fully understand it, and I know Bli$$ard is just a company. But because I understand them, does that mean I have to be on their side? Of course not, that would be silly. I'm a costumer and so I always will be on the costumer's side no matter what.
The fact that you believe there are sides to be taken is proof that you don't really understand.
Consumer advocacy does not apply in the case of luxury goods and services. You don't NEED video games, so Blizzard is free to conduct business however it sees fit, as long as it abides by local gambling laws in your jurisdiction, etc. Customers don't need you on their side because they can easily survive without the product in question. If they don't like the price, they simply don't buy the product. If Blizzard were a utility company selling electricity or public water, it would be a different story, but they are not.
Despite how you keep trying to paint me, I'm not "on Blizzard's side." I'm just a realist who is tired of all the nonsensical moralistic complaints.
However, in my opinion, anyone who talks about "greedy a$$ Bli$$ard" has a screw loose. Blizzard is a subsidiary of a publicly traded company. Of course they will do everything in their power to entice people to spend money on their products. This isn't some amazing revelation, and it doesn't make them wrong or evil. On the contrary, it's the mostethical thing for them to do because they have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders to make as much money as possible.
And why shouldn't us do everything in our power to benefit ourselves? Seriously, who cares about their shareholders, it's their problem, not ours.
Complaining about the high price of a luxury product isn't "doing something." The only action that makes a difference is refusing to purchase the product. I assume you've done that part. Everything else is just pointless venting that belongs in the salt thread.

WTF? You have to be kidding me. I perfectly know all that, Sherlock, I don't live under a rock. It is you the one that don't understand my position.
I don't care about Blizzard and I don't care about their rights. If I could start a stupid witch hunt against Bobby Kotick without any consequences just for ten free in-game gold coins, I would do it. Do you understand now? Yeah, Blizzard is a company and blah blah blah. Ok... but I-DON'T-CARE, dude!
You talk about being realistic, ok, but do you know what is real? The fact that Activision Blizzard doesn't give a single f..k about you or me, so stop trying to tell me I should respect their stupid business decisions, because I won't.
I can't believe we are still discussing things like this in this forum, we are talking about a company that shits on all kind of human rights just for money. If they don't have any kind of ethical principles, why should we?

By complaining about the high price of poor quality Activision Blizzard's products, we are preventing others out there of purchasing them, which is the only way to change the minds of these greedy bastards. As simple as that.
Imagine spending hours and hours grinding out under-level content in a Gacha game and then complaining about a balance change that removes the incentive to engage in this mindless drudgery. And to boot, it's all to get to an end-game that you don't even enjoy.
FFS go be an Uber driver for two hours and just buy the welcome bundle if you must have more content. This can't possibly be a good use of your time.
You talk about being realistic, ok, but do you know what is real? The fact that Activision Blizzard doesn't give a single f..k about you or me, so stop trying to tell me I should respect their stupid business decisions, because I won't.
I absolutely agree that Blizzard doesn't care about you or me. The weird thing is that you seem to think they should.
No one cares whether you respect them or not. They are what they are, and no amount of complaining is going to change that. I'm not telling you to respect them. I'm telling you that your opinion about them as a business is utterly irrelevant.

Yeah, my opinion alone is irrelevant, I know that (thanks for pointing that out, FortyDust), but the opinions of thousands or even millions of costumers not only on the internet, but also in real life (word of mouth) about Activision Blizzard's business decisions are not, just because they can be listened by many others who could stop buying their products if they considere them inappropriate for their wallets and gaming experience (as I said already in a previous post of mine).

So your intent is to convince people to stop buying products because you personally disagree with the prices? That's silly. It is up to each individual to decide how much they are willing to pay.
I would never buy a Porsche 911 because I happen to believe $100K is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a car. But I do not troll Porsche fansites telling the Porsche fans to stop buying Porsche products. They are entitled to spend their money however they want to, and my input would be laughed at, just like I'm laughing at you for doing that exact thing here.

Calling the person you disagree with a troll is the last resort of someone without arguments to support their point of view, and laughing at him for no reason is even worse.
I already explained why convincing other people to stop buying Activision Blizzard's products benefits everyone (except this company of course), I'm not going to repeat it again.
Also, I'm not going to start going on circles until the mods close this thread, so say something smart or just give up, but I'm not going to play that stupid game with you.
problem is it's not a porsche fansite it's barely running the UI is terrible the game is broken heaps of issues and economies weren't even established there's a lot of issues still need to be ironed out ACROSS THE BOARD i agree with you on this one lol i didn't pay for it so i'm enjoying it and i'll never play PVP cuz all that is is PAY 2 WIN CLOWNS i'm just done after the story mode think of it as free content launch
Calling the person you disagree with a troll is the last resort of someone without arguments to support their point of view, and laughing at him for no reason is even worse.
Problem is your profile and your words objectively spell out troll. You don't have a cohesive argument. You don't have anything that adds value to the argument. It's like you're a 13 year old who just wants to be part of the mob of haters.
Address his argument with something coherent. You are just making yourself look bad.

What about pointing out my argument's flaws and engaging the discussion in a proper manner instead of making such a silly and absurd post about me? Who are you to judge my actions?

It is absolutely doing something. You convince others not to spend as well. That is why you get so upset.

The problem is you didn't have an argument. You had a temper tantrum. And yes people get to be judged when they have a temper tantrum. That's how we teach people they should feel shame when they act badly and you are extremely out of line in your responses. Just because you think you are right doesn't mean you get to get away with being an ass and not addressing the argument. That's child logic man.
