The damage Tasks for my Mercs seem to be easy to complete, they basically go automatically. The healing Tasks though, ouch.
Not sure if it's my SMOrc nature or if these Tasks are really that slow to complete. First you need to get your Mercs injured, and then heal them, which is an extra step, but then for some reason dealing more damage than needed to kill something is counted towards the total for Tasks, but excess Healing is apparently not.
Which gets frustrating in a lot of cases, cause you have to figure out precisely the right level of Bounty to pick to get damage in but not die in the process and then make sure you get your heals off, and then it's like +8 Heal, when you need like 120.
Are there better/smarter/more efficient ways to do these Healing tasks? Maybe specific Bounties that are well suited for them?

That does sound frustrating - I haven't played enough yet to experience this but my first thought was:
- Can you heal enemies? Might be easier to bash them yourself and heal them back up. Something that can take a hit but also won't kill your guys if it lives.
Someone else probably has a better solution. I'd imagine there would be a specific boss that isn't too dangerous that can be used to get heals in multiple times.
Most heals can target opponents too. Ones like Cariel's deathblow will come with time, though, whilst you burn through endless SPUDs from the mysteries.
I did my healing tasks letting only one enemy alive, (caster or any colour but spellcaster, so it doesn't take damage) In my case I left Varden alive casting spell on my Cariel (crits) and then just spam healing with Xyrella each turn. Be careful with unexpected spell damge buffs, crits and target swaps. Hope it helps mate :)
The final boss for the barrens has a set pattern of actions. He'll do damage one turn if you're slower, the other if you're faster. On the faster turn, use slow damaging attacks. On the slower turn, heal him. You can essentially stall that boss forever and keep healing him infinitely. Or if you do have a friendly-only skill, have a tank intentionally get hit and then heal the tank.
I usually play Barak on normal and let the enemy do some damage so that I can heal. You can control how long the battle will go against barak with right mercs.
btw if you find those frustrating, wait until Millhouse task 12: "kill 3 enemies with single arcane explosion, 15 times" god it takes so long and you gotta plan hard to get that..

That Milihouse one feels like it's a 'run the easiest bounty and only have Milihouse acting' one! Impressive to get that far, though. My highest is Xyrella who is close to the third equip (though she just uses the Blinding luminescence one as that ability is nuts).
I found that you can target some of your own mercs with certain damaging abilities and then heal them with your healer who has the task. So if you go to a low level caster enemy (which won't attack you and kill itself) you can damage your own team and then heal them indefinitely! (Make sure any other mercs skip turn so as not to kill the enemy caster).

What I do is using a taunt merc into bounties with the beasts because they only attacks.
So you can heal your taunt boi up while also damaging the enemy every single turn.
For example mutanus is a great taunt merc because hé doesnt heal himself unlike cariel.
