Haven't seen one of these yet and it doesn't look like there is a deck-builder supported yet so post your comps here. Very interested to see what people are running so far. I feel like there is a deceptively huge amount of skill and nuance to uncover with building good team comps and I've having a blast playing so far.
I'm proposing that in addition to your comp, you also post squads that you typically deploy if applicable. Here's what I'm running.
Squad A: Xyrelia, Samuro, Cariel Roame
Squad B: Mutanus, Morgl the Oracle, Old-Murkeye
If I see lots of green or blue I'm deploying Squad B as it's resistant to both and it's harder to get the murloc synergy rolling if you don't reploy it immediate. Otherwise it's usually Squad A.
Squad A shouldn't come as any surprise to a lot of people. The Xyrelia/Samuro combo is kind of broken. Literally have not seen a single other triple murloc squad all the way up to 5000 rating so far yet but it works pretty well.
Don't use PvP because that mode will be a epic fail, as for the PvE content I mainly use
Xyrella, Cornelius Roame, Samuro, Thrall, Rokara (Orc Synergy is quite bonkers)
Cariel is vastly outmatched by Cornelius imo, I've used Cariel at the very beginning but his Taunt abiility is a lot worse than Cornelius that adds Heal to adjacent heroes.
I've also leveled Blink Fox to beat that one Boss in the 2nd wing who spawns growing Treants when you hit him, feels like a must for this Boss alone.
I usually start with the first three using the standard Xyrella and Sumuro combo while letting Varden slow. If the oppoent has a lot of green I will swap Varden for Thrall. Vol'jin and Tavish are both always bench since I want their cool down abilities to be ready. Once in play they can both alternate between their 1 turn abilities.

Cornelius is a couple of levels behind the others (something like 25ish now for me, so not far), but feels so squishy compared with Cariel. Cariel's taunt is self-healing, whilst Cornelius has to attack and eat more damage to get a minor health bonus, so no self-sustain. How are you keeping Cornelius alive? Or are you going for quick attacks and hope not to get all four opps hitting the same target for a couple of turns in a row? Can't get a good set, overall, though. Best I've got is Cornelius/Cariel/Xyrelia/Samuro/Grom/Rokara.
non pvp here, for pve my main squad is Lich King, Tavish, Xyrella, Brightwing, Alexstrazsa, and Voone. i already have a human team and murloc team up to 25 as well, been playing around with different comps and using carrys from the main team to lvl up the low lvls. next groups of heroes to raise up orcs and beasts. been having a blast, in fact might be playing mainly mercs for the foreseeable future
Mannoroth is quite a nice tech against heavy attack comps (orcs!) and if you can deny a heal with Fel Lash (Flurry makes this easier), it can make a huge difference. Millhouse is using the Task 7 treasure and tries to get his Arcane Bolt doubled by Tyrande.

My pvp team is:
Xyrella, Samuro, Varden, Thrall, Vol’jin, Tavish
I usually start with the first three using the standard Xyrella and Sumuro combo while letting Varden slow. If the oppoent has a lot of green I will swap Varden for Thrall. Vol'jin and Tavish are both always bench since I want their cool down abilities to be ready. Once in play they can both alternate between their 1 turn abilities.
The comp I usually win with is Xyrella, Diablo, Blinkfox(not a good merc, just in there for "fun"), Gul'dan, Baron Geddon, Tirion
I have a lot of green and blue, but only 4 red mercs, none of which are good which is why I don't run any red.
My PVE squad is Xyrella, Cariel, Morgl, Old-Murkeye, Cornelius, Bru'Kan
2 murlocs + one of protector, Xyrella + 2 protectors, Bru'Kan+Protector+Morgl are my usual trios.
My team is: Mukla, Cairne, Guff, Anacondra, Bru'kan, Blink Fox, so beast + nature synergy.
They did a great job of getting through Winterspring, but I may need to switch things up for BRD.

MMMmmmmmm...Acceptable.
Grommash, Xyrella, Samuro, Gul'dan, Tyrande, Cornelius Roame
Guldan is just a one man killing machine if you level fel bolt, especially if you get the fel bolt hits a neighbour too.
Just broke 5000 rating with this team
Jaraxxus
Mannoroth
Rathorian
Tamsin
Xyrella
Samuro
My new team which seems to be doing well against things like Samuro/Cariel is:
Dawngrasp, Lich King, Xyrella, Mannoroth, Tyrande, Millhouse
Mannoroth is quite a nice tech against heavy attack comps (orcs!) and if you can deny a heal with Fel Lash (Flurry makes this easier), it can make a huge difference. Millhouse is using the Task 7 treasure and tries to get his Arcane Bolt doubled by Tyrande.
