I dont think they will do them again. They even said that this stuff was to hard to do and took a lot of times. The time is now spend on hero books (we will 100% get one for the explorers this year) and mini sets. I think its time for you to play other games that are like that because blizz has moved on. Mercs is the closest one you come with that.

"... but not less than (1)" is needed now more than ever!
Unlike predetermined starting decks in actual PvE dungeon runs, in duels you build your starting deck, and continue as a PvP dungeon run.
Too bad they don't remake dungeon runs, the last one was incredibly fun, actually IS, I still do those sometimes.
Calling Mercs whatever this failure of a mode is supposed to be, is an insult to dungeon runs and any roguelike adventures. And to think they charge money for that and people actually P2W this horror.
Sad, I guess I will wait the same time that I did for adventures (Like Naxx, Explorers) :(
They've flat out said they were never doing adventures again.
They also flat out said they weren't gonna do deck disruption several years back, bring out tournament mode within a couple of years 6 years ago, said that they wouldn't print a "destroy your opponent" card, that OTK ain't massively fun for the game but will always have only a couple exist in standard, also said during year of mammoth that from now on they're only releasing three 135 card expansions a year and no more, that priest shouldn't be able to do immediate face damage, hunters will lack draw, tavern brawls will be fun and unique, mill won't exist (arguably hasn't but they have printed minor support) and I can't remember if it was the Hearthstone team or something else in blizzard that said they wouldn't do season passes like Fortnite when that first became popular and other games started doing it.
I guess with constant change of leadership's, we can't take anything they say for granted and even though I don't think they're gonna make anything identical to dungeon runs and adventures in the near future, they could definite be releasing something very similar and possibly better. I wouldn't mind seeing some more good quality and rewarding solo content with replay value.
I wanna see something like DRs but crossed with the economies of battlegrounds. Given specific amount of gold between each battle to buy individual cards, buy 3 and turn them into a golden that has double stats and effects for just 1 mana more, do special challenges in game for bonus gold, a bank that you can put unspent gold in and spend on abilities and have as many as you like as long as you can afford it, have minion tiers you gotta unlock for stronger comp legendaries, but played like regular Hearthstone...
Man I played all those dungeons like a mad man and I loved them all, but somehow I really don't feel like returning to them again. It's like they did them the way they should be, we played until we got tired and then moved on. Duels is no replacement for it, but still captures some of the crazy treasure synergy vibe. If duels ain't your thing, you have 5 different dungeon games to return to. I see the idea in a Bgs-like twist, but these days I've lost my flair for the PvE content in general and perhaps there are just too many players like me :)
Totally second this. Dungeon run was the single best piece of content they added imo and I would pay money just to update the card pools in the current existing versions
I think the biggest way to make Dungeon Runs fresh: -Voluntary Randomness (like anomaly but endgame modes) -RPG elements (stronger treasures/bosses/buckets as you progress) -random events (encounters that come out of the blue, or treasures/upgrades you rarely see -Less heroes, less signature treasures, less starting decks (I want the customizations to come WITH my run's progress) -Let me choose my hero power after I know my first passive, treasure, and a few buckets (I like my strategy to evolve)

I'm still playing Uldum's one but is it just doomed with Duels ? (Who is literally a worse version of dungeon runs)
Between Duels and Mercenaries, it would surprise me if they ever did more Dungeon Run content.

I would happily see a new dungeon run mode. Maybe after 2 years of books, they will do a different PvE mode, maybe even Dungeon Run-like.

That is so much out of topic that it amuses me. Maybe you should step away from the game if you randomly advice others to do it.

@BourbieSpeedrun Try playing Legends of Runeterra's Path of Champions for great PvE content. I tried it a month ago and can't put it away!

I'd honestly love to have another dungeon run again. At least as long as it isn't Rastakhan Rumble style, that one was very bad.

I'm sure they'll find a way to ruin Dungeon Runs even if they do bring them back. All the experimental solo modes they've made since have been awful.
Only 25 gnomebliterators? Those a rookie numbers. You gotta bump those numbers up.
