I would give you some advice, but honestly it was the first class I won with so I don't remember now what choices I made. For me, my Achilles heel in Dungeon Run was Paladin. I'd build for Recruit buffing, or I'd try to build for big minions as these were the two suggested strategies. But no matter what I'd get hit with a final boss that countered my strategy. Until one day a few months ago I randomly decided to try it again and actually cruised through all 8 bosses.
Justicar's Ring with Inspire minions is my favorite direction to take the Mage. Kvaldir Raider is an underrated champion in the Dungeon Run.

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
I actually didn't keep track of how many bosses I defeated before completing my first run with each class. Although I did record how many runs it took me until I got my first 8-win run. I've also kept track of how many total runs I've done so far with each class, and how many 8-win runs I have.
Druid: Took me 5 runs to get get my first 8-win run; (Right now, after 25 runs, I've completed it just that 1 time).
If its that hard for you, keep re-rolling until you get the treasure that makes all 5+ cost minions cost 5 and draft big minions.

It can definitely be frustrating, but you'll get it! Try using this guide to give you some ideas on what might work best for Mage: https://www.icy-veins.com/hearthstone/mage-dungeon-run-class-guide

I wish you all the best of luck, mate. I beat Togwaggle with Quel'Delar my first go, so I have no right to comment.

@linkblade - I've tried that a few times, but my inspire minions were just "ok",and didn't draw them often.
@TrevoRaven8 - I've gotten 1 piece or the other, never both...because Hearthstone
@Thonson - Used that guide, and the last 5 or so runs based treasures and strats on that. No go obviously

There is no reason to resurrect long-dead threads, especially with a pointless comment like that.
