So its pretty widely known that Warrior is the hardest class to beat with.
So the archetypes that come to mind are theses
Dragons
Weapons
Pirates
Armor gain
Recruiting.
So the problem is the final bosses are all about to deal with what warrior Does even if you build super heavy Control, ill show you a picture of a decklist that i played against the darkness and he literally just removed all the minions i played cause he runs double mind control, Entomb and all those removal spells
What ive noticed from each boss and why its hard as fuck
Azuri - if you build Control you just instantly lose unless you get boots of haste, Wand or Horn to cheat big minions play
The darkness -So the fact he gets 2 mana to start means he gets a turn 1 5/5. He has a shit load of removal so basically playing for value is nearly impossible.
Xol - This might be the easiest one because of the fact of the RNG for the spells.
(that dragon with the chests) - This is due able if you can out tempo them.
King Tag - this is like xol where its RNG in what treasure chests.
Please help me cause having over 250 wins is kinda depressing lol
I beat warrior with heavy recruit deck. You do have to get lucky getting your treasures early. Horn of Cenarius and Boots of Haste are very useful.
Ive also heard some success with aggro pirate deck. You either pick +1/+1, stealth, or 2x battlecry as passives
EDIT you can also try to get quel'delar by picking the hilt and blade of quel'delar. If you got both, you start with a 1 mana 6/6 weapon that deals 6 damage Consecration. Might want to tru that if you run out of other options xD
I completed the Warrior run using enrage and charge minions. Ended up with multiple Grom's. I chose +1/+1 for my first, and stealth for my second. Against The Darkness, the permanent stealth negates most of his removal.
I fatigued The Darkness by goinig as bulky as I possibly can. I've chosen double health and Justicar's Ring, and I've played controll. I survived with 32 health. Another thing is if you get Tad's pole in your starting hand it's an EZGG against every boss
there is no correct answer here. the dungeon run is meant to test your skills drafting. you will need
knowledge of how dungeon run works (bosses, mechanics)
understanding of tempo and other in game resources and how this effects your picks
class knowledge
knowledge of caards (synergy, strength, balance)
if you can get a grasp on these things then you will find you have great runs.
if you want to just pick random cards and hope you win well, that isn't going to accomplish anything. you may get lucky and brag on here how you got lucky but ya, that's not skill then is it.
I'm still convinced Warrior DR is broken. It lacks any reliable synergy and relies far too much on luck. I am over 150+ bosses and still have not completed a full run. Took less than 20 tries on both Hunter and Priest and neither of those of strong classes for me. If you pick weapons cost (1) and then dont get woecleaver, it's pointless. Flag and Glyph seem to help, but it's almost impossible to maintain tempo with the upper bosses - you cant keep up with your runts and big creatures take too long to play - unless you ALSO have the 5+ minions cost (5). OR Quel'Dalar. SO MANY unlikely scenarios, and the answer I see all over the net is: just keep playing until you get one of these ridiculously unlikely scenarios and everything falls perfectly into place. That's not strategy, that's dumb luck.

I don't think many would disagree. Warrior is the hardest/worst class.
Cartoon (+ double battlecry ideally) used to be the easy way to win as warrior. However... they seem to have removed Cartoon from the warrior pool of cards, making it way more difficult. Some manner of "big" is indeed the correct answer imo. Dragons/recruit, all-cost-5, something-something, high-roll Y'Shaarj/Deathwing, Dragonlord will get it done.

Have they removed it? That seems dumb. I admit, I don't do many warrior runs because they are generally less fun, so I didn't notice.

I disagree. For me priest was the worst by far. I got all 9 dungeon runs on my main account and on a side account (which I used to get morgle and play from time to time) on US, EU and Asia and Priest was the only one I needed more than 40 wins with. No other class was that tedious (and boring) for me to get through the dungeon run.
I found warrior pretty okay. Usually I took the "big minions cost 5" and got a lot of big minions. And obviously, I also had the necessary luck with the bosses. But my most fun run was also with warrior: Grim Patron and stealth.

I don't know, but in my recent runs when I picked Druid or Shaman, I feel I got offered way less Jade and Cthun. So they might have reduced the chance of these synergies...
OMG FINALLY. Final Boss was Xol and I paid extremely close attention to what beams she had (literally took notes), and was lucky enough that Howlfiends allowed me to control her quest and discard nether portal. Had Flag +1/+1 and double health, Wax Rager and Primordial Wand (which I never drew). Went Charge! every time except to pick up 2 Elise Trailblazers and a Gorgon. With all the extra cards and it being Xol (she thankfully discarded Deathwing), I was able to fatigue her and won with 32 health remaining.
I have reached end boss three or four times and just been slapped down. Currently at 171 wins and really starting to get bored now.
I feel like I have tried pretty much every possible build strategy but when what you get offered after each battle constanylu lacks synergy with what you'd been building, and hdlf the treasures sucking hard...ugh.
I've had some great decks...but one bad draw is enough to derail a run in the last stages, if you stood a chance at all.

I've beaten it with heavy recruit, combined with Scepter of Summoning and Horn of Cenarius. Just keep trying.

Moved to Dungeon Run discussion.
So just a quick update, I FINALLY was about to beat Warrior. Tho The double woe Cleaver helped for sure with only being 1 mana

I have been trying for almost a week. Someone just tell me what to do already! If I can get this one done, the other 6 should be a breeze.
Just got scepter of summoning and recruit/dragon package. Beat the dragon with chests with 3 five mana deathwing, dragonlords.
