It is a completely free, single player, new mode. You don't need rewards for every thing in the game. This is like whining that you don't get rewards in practice mode -.-''
Other games offer same mode but with rewards. So player will rather choose game where he is rewarded for playing it.
You have more mods with rewards than in other games.

That is 7 mods that offer rewards. It is not the end of the world if one mod doesn't offer rewards for playing it.
Why 2 ladders? One Standard and one Wild. Rewards for participating in these ladders are close to non-existent. And actually you get only one reward for both ladders.
Adventures? There are no more adventures. RIP F2P, as people say.
Arena. Ok, this is only at least something-rewarding mode. Imo, boring as hell, but whatever.
Tavern Brawls? One pack per week is not a big deal. it's more tool for keeping people playing the game once per week at least.
And it's not about other modes, really. It's about they are able to finally add something new and cool to the game and ruin it by their own greed, as always.
- My mistake, I've meant to 2 modes, casual and ranked. Ranked rewards you with the ranked chest, casual gives you 10 gold per 3 wins.
- Then what do you call what we got in KFT for no price at all? It is still an adventure although the prizes have been changed.

- It is not a big deal to you, but considering the enormous amounts of salt and tears whenever there is a Heroic Tavern Brawl because people didn't get their 40 dust from the Brawl begs to different. It is obviously a big deal to a lot of people and, as shocking as it might seem to all of us here on the forum, there is actually a solid portion of the playerbase that enjoys brawls and plays them even after they get their one pack.
Why is it ruined? It is a mode with a lot of variation and thus great re playability. You can also do your 100 gold quests in it. It is fun mode made for those who either seek a challenge or want to just play casually vs the ai. It is a free vs ai mode, it shouldn't have rewards. Especially if you consider how easily exploitable HS ai is (just look at the adventures) and if we take into consideration that, maybe, new cards that come out will be added to this mode, there could be a way to farm this mode very easily (I'm not stating that there will be a way but there most certainly could be a way) so I guess that they've thought about that as well and thus removed rewards from this mode. It is understandable, especially if there might be a way to exploit this mode for ez wins. We can't tell until we see the Dungeon Run.
For experienced players, this will be fun to mess around with for a little while, but has limited replay value. Guess what? This feature is *not for those players*. So weird to hear people bitch about the new-player experience and then bitch when Team 5 actually does something about it.
Its confirmed, that youll get a Candle Wax Cardback Designed by Jamaro Kindred if you defeat the Dungeon with all 9 Classes (Jamaro Kindred on Trums Stream 3/11/17)
Maybe youll get more rewards but thats not confirmed so far.
Im absolutely hyped about the new game mode, looked so fun to see the plays against the first 3 Bosses at Blizzcon. I hope theyll make the first bosses a little bit stronger thought seemed way to easy.

Which was copied from a lot of older digital card games (yes, some people find it hard to believe that this things have existed for over a decade)
Easiest ones is to 1) limit daily rewards in this mode or 2) daily runs count.
And other 8 I'm too lazy to invent atm, the internet is full of them already (several threads discussing DR rewards on this site and on reddit, for example).
And actually I don't think that botting is a real problem for HS. With Blizzard aggressive ban policy, lack of trading in the game and overall small rewards size it's simply not worth it.

No we won't. They confirmed that they don't want to "force us" to play this game mode so there is no other rewards than card back.
There is no forcing in giving compensation for the time affort, if they dont give a compensation for gold/time loss this game mode will die after everybody completes it with 9 classes.
And this is a game mode not a onetime adventure so it kinda needs at least something consistent as a reward system.
I had a chance to play it at Blizzcon. It was a lot of fun. I got three bosses down as a Warrior, then faced a golem boss with a ton of anti-Warrior cards. It seems like some bosses will be easier than others depending on your class. After each victory, you get to pick a set of 3 somewhat synergistic cards to add to your original deck. The original 10 card deck is made for you when you start. The only thing you pick is your class.
