I highly doubt there will be any great rewards for completion. If there was any loot that affected the regular game (gold, dust, cards) then it would be game-breaking, since they said this single-player content would be completely free. If you got that kind of loot, you could just continually replay to expand your collection and never need to buy packs.
I think it will be limited to Hero levels, so you can level up your heroes this way rather than on the ladder or against the Innkeeper.
Unless the bosses are on the level of Heroic bosses from the adventures. Having to do those with a random deck that you are slowly building seems like very few people would get all 8 bosses killed. There should be a better reward if they are that difficult.
why not give some balanced rewards? you get some gold for completing it or even 2 packs if it's challenging why not?
it's not like AI can't be challenging.
if it's difficult enough and it takes time to get it right it's amazing. and you should get rewarded every time.. it also helps with the new player/f2p experience.
wonder what the rewards will be I hope for a free legendary weapon on the first attempt it was really nice in KFT to get to try a new archtype right off the bat.
probably because it will take people less than 1 hour to come up with a deck that just wrecks the AI ... just like what happened with the Icecrown Adventure.

There is sure to be a reward for repeatedly completing it and partial rewards for completing part of it, the less valuable resource in the game (dust is more valuable than gold on average pack opening) so you could get gold each run if it's time consuming experience you will get rewarded, the AI is quite good now (I dare you to try and beat the one where the enemy summons a X/X naga (X being the turn number) each turn in LOE it became so hard in heroic that people just can't beat it now.
I think the mode efficiency per run will be more than ranked mode but less than arena, and they might even give you a special reward for completing the run with all 9 classes.
@zzAMBIENzz: you don't pick a deck this time it doesn't interact with your collection at all that's what BB said on the stream

Yes, a card back if I'm correct. It is not even close to a new hero skin that we got from beating The Lich King in KotFT.
Oh yeah now I see it.
there is sure to be some sort of reward if it wants to make it anything like a WOW dungeon you need to get some loot at the end or it won't make any sense.
I think no reward is okay but I want it to interact with Daily Quest, that way new player that don't have solid collection to complete certain quest still have a fun way to complete it. Quest that need a 'Win' for certain Class for example is quite hard to achive if you can only make a sub par deck. Grinding many game just to get 3 win and experience losing again and again is not very fun.
I think personally no reward at all is okay because in it self this game mode looks so fun to play. But with so many complain about new player experience, I think this will help new player enjoy the hearthstone more.
Watched kripp stream, mike donias (designer) was on the stream and said it has no reward other than the card back after beating it with all 9 classes.
k feels badman RIP F2P.
I hope they'll reconsider this one. No one will play this mode without rewards. And card back for NINE runs seems like mockery. It's even worse then Arthas skin for 9 heroic fights. Blizzard's greed is unmatchable.
Got really excited about this until I found out all you get is a card back. At first I thought it would be a really cool way for new and F2P players to have something to play that would give them some rewards while not having much of a collection. Without reward, it's just a time waster for most people, time that will be better spent ranking or earning rewards.
This is clearly Blizzards attempt to answer the "new player problem" by giving a PvE mode that allows new players to experience a progression of winning, getting new cards, building different decks from that limited pool of cards and winning some games. For the last year or more, the ladder at rank 20 is almost exclusively net decks, and over 50% of casual is net decks. I think it's a great idea for helping new players get into the game (compared with just the tutorial and then being thrown into the deep end of ladder/arena. But for most of us on Hearthpwn that are moderate or longer term players looking to improve our collection, this does not appear to be something that will be interesting after beating it with each class for fun. I also doubt that it will be all that challenging for seasoned players since it seems to be so clearly designed for new players who may not understand game mechanics and card quality. I still like the idea, but its a little disappointing if the card back is the only reward.
On a side note, I did hear that when the expansion drops each player will get a free legendary class weapon though (similar to KFT getting a DK). Don't have a confirmation or source of this though.
Wow. They said that they won't force us to play this mode that's why there are no rewards. What a bull.... If you don't want to you don't have to play it. That's all. To be honest I'm kinda forced to play arena cuz it's the best way to collect cards if you are good at it but it doesn't mean that I'm playing arena all the time. Even daily quests force us to play certain class or minions. Gosh, Blizzard's excuses are really annoying me.
team 5 is EXPERT at making things to piss off the community a few examples (out of hundreds):
1. Fiery war axe nerf explanation (the "why not make FWA a 2 mana 2/2" cause people are too dumb to optimize)
2. Adding more deck slots confuse people and they aren't smart enough to use them.
3. the random nerf to Hex
4. Blade flurry nerf : "opens design space for more weapon buffs" good weapon buffs printed count since 2015: 0
5. molten giant nerf "people will be able to be at low HP cause there are less burst options- while making the card unplayable in so many levels.
6. arcane golem nerf- making the card a joke.
7. purify when priest was tier garbage can.
8.tavern brawl timings being unreasonable (Specially heroic tavern brawl timings)
9. "synergy picks"
10. arena common card rewards at high wins since beta.. sigh.
It is a completely free, single player, new mode. You don't need rewards for every thing in the game. This is like whining that you don't get rewards in practice mode -.-''

Other games offer same mode but with rewards. So player will rather choose game where he is rewarded for playing it.

You have more mods with rewards than in other games.
Wild: 2 ladders
Standard: 2 ladders
Adventures
Arena
Tavern Brawls
That is 7 mods that offer rewards. It is not the end of the world if one mod doesn't offer rewards for playing it.

Why 2 ladders? One Standard and one Wild. Rewards for participating in these ladders are close to non-existent. And actually you get only one reward for both ladders.
Adventures? There are no more adventures. RIP F2P, as people say.
Arena. Ok, this is only at least something-rewarding mode. Imo, boring as hell, but whatever.
Tavern Brawls? One pack per week is not a big deal. it's more tool for keeping people playing the game once per week at least.
And it's not about other modes, really. It's about they are able to finally add something new and cool to the game and ruin it by their own greed, as always.
They may give some minor capped rewards like no more than 20 gold per day or something like this.
its free so no reward unless you donate money to blizz after the run then you get a gold card
just make it like an arcade HIGHEST SCORES get seen by the all of hearthstone lol that be pretty cool.

Very excited for this. I love Roguelikes and I've really enjoyed hearthstone's single player content so far so I'm very on board.
