So yeah, I am not a big duels player, and I just decided to give it a try, then I picked shaman and copy-pasted some random initial deck for shaman, the first one I could craft without honestly looking what cards were included is that deck.
The thing is the whole run was a joke, double battlecry gave make infinite value, and I just destroyed all kind of opponents, paladins with that shit making everything 3-3s, discard locks, secret and deathrattle hunters, ele mages... I think I just faced all kind of decks except maybe another shaman
The easiest 510g of my life and sweet achievements, even the pack was worth it 3 epics.
Now, my question to all of you, as said im not a big experienced duels player, so I dont know guys if muy deck was totally broken with the treasures and powers, or shaman is usually just like this? Fire elemental 8 damage face for 5 mana, leaving a 6-5 body is a joke on my opinion in top of that I had that elemental dude making your battlecries twice so in some runs that elemental was 16 damage face for 6 mana.
Just curious, what was the original decklist that you used? Seems you ended up with some pretty good elemental synergies. Combine that with cheaper/double battlecries, I can see why you did well.
I've just recently started messing with duels again, and I would say that your ending deck seems above average, but overall, just looks like it works well together.
In my most recent runs, I would on occasion get offered buckets that don't really match what I have already and then you'll end up with some draws that don't do as much as they could.
The patch notes said Duels treasures would be more likely to synergize with the rest of your deck, so I think we should see the power level in that mode increase across the board. Decks with clear treasure synergies (such as lots of battlecries) are probably going to be stronger than those that are less obvious.

I've seen a number of classes do this. The synergies are all spot on and it combines with the hero power and/or the treasures and it just completely blows me out of the water. I also see plenty of the opposite, I crush someone who has clearly had awful picks and it's a mess of a deck.
It's why I like duels. I don't play it a ton but I go back to it now and then, because crazy stuff that could never be on ladder can happen. Ridiculous decks and combos. It's fine with me for truly broken shit to happen there, when it's your turn (like the op), it feels bloody marvelous and you remember the deck, because chances are you won't ever get the same one.
Sorry for the necromancy guys but I have to say that Shaman in fact is one of the best classes in Duels, another 12 run recently, not flawless but still 12 wins.
This time instead of elemental Shaman I tried murloc shaman (broken as hell with the battlecry passives) in fact my 2 losses was vs another Shaman.
At least Shaman is not useless in Duels compared vs standard...
Honestly I am starting to enjoy more Duels rather than Standard or Arena... In top of that the gold farming is real if you compare the gold I had 6 days ago and now is +1k gold, 1k/week is quite good.
That Overload HP was widely acknowledged as being utterly broken before the update. The consensus seems to be that it's still utterly broken, and the new treasure system has probably made it even more consistent (and oppressive).
A couple of other archetypes have improved as well, so they at least have some chance of beating Overload, but on the other hand there are several classes with NO viable archetype whatsoever.

I can't enjoy duels anymore. It has almost no "roguelike" feel left in it. Dungeon runs are fun when they force you to adapt on the fly and each run was different...
The current version of duels just doesn't do this. You pick theme A and take every bucket that fits this theme with no question asked
I love duels! I just finished 12 wins as warlock. Im a little envious about the amount of gold you got. I got 390 gold and a golden rare card...those card and dust rewards are a pain in the ass.
I have never been that lucky with shaman. Im usually succesfull with warrior or warlock.

Yeah, its quiet obvious now what to pick. But its still better then before. Its a little bit more "constructed". Before it was really just to much about if you are lucky on treasures. Before it was just stupid when you got offered totally useless stuff.

Pasives; All Together Now & Battle Totem
Treasures: Hunter's Insight (used only 1 time) & Gentleman's Top Hat & Blood Moon (never used) Blade of the Burning Sun (used 2 times only) & Greedy Pickaxe (used once maybe?)
