The same rotating games of rogue, druid and warlock and the rare warrior or hunter who I can only assume queued by mistake. There's a reason people were starved for Naxx, this meta was shit. What is really the point of bringing back the same 4 refined decks to see who can top deck better?
Classic? It’s a meme, nostalgic mode, and nothing more. Are people really, like, wanting changes made to it or something? It’s strictly to experience the game as it was back then, nothing more lol.
I played Classic for one or two days, then just stopped playing it. It's boring. Is it cool to be able to experience Classic Hearthstone again? Yeah, sure. But the meta of 2014 was so boring. I feel like Classic will just become a dead mode unless they update it like they did WoW Classic.
I get the whole nostalgia bit, but if that was the reason they could have just made a casual mode of it. They full on took the time to recreate one of the most mind numbing ladder climbs this game has seen and made a ranked game mode for it. I get the trying to bait old players back... to play a game mode which was the reason they left...(???)
I have to imagine they'll eventually fold in other sets, or this will at least serve as a pilot for some kind of rotating, non-standard restricted format. The problem is that with data analysis / social media, metas get figured out pretty quickly and they get stale without changes. Nobody is going to have some sudden Eureka moment with the Classic format and change the metagame up.
It is mostly so the Expert/Classic cards can be used somewhere after the introduction of the Core set. They did not want to give dust refunds or make os DE it all for free, so they introduced another ranked mode where Core cards could not be used instead.
Why s it so difficult to get that different players might enjoy different things? I've spent thousands of dust in this mode and haven't regretted it for a second so far.

nostalgia, pure nostalgia
I don't miss 2014 meta though, just played a bit to see if I still knew how to pilot old meta decks, after some matches I quit classic mode

You can either play a stale meta for eternity or a game where you randomly generate more cards than are in your actual deck. Pick your poison.
isn't that hearthstone in general?
