I guess the only thing that's left for me is to watch old Kripparrian videos and miss the old times.
Nagas seem to be not that bad - to be fair. But that's just my personal taste.
By the way: this is by far best-looking internet forum I've come across in my life. Also sorry if there are any mistakes in what I write, english is not my native language.
I understand the nostalgia, but Battlegrounds was terrible back then by comparison. Like fucking miserable and every game was so similar.
I think the real thing is the time and pain it takes to adjust to a new meta. I know I feel the same thing when it changes. It sucks to lose or feel like you don't know what's going on, but it's temporary.
I feel the same, I liked old BGs more too, despite some problems corrected by now. I liked how few patterns you had to remember and how low power level was. At some point (probably when quests were introduced) the amount of information and APM required to be competitive became overwhelming, so it was time for me to move on. Blizzard's decision to lock extra slots from F2P players helped a lot. Now I mostly come back only to complete tribe daily quests.

English is not my native language, so, with a high probability, mistakes were made.

I get what you mean but WHY OH WHY those newer tribes have to be so terrible?
But that's just me and my "old-school" taste. Most people may like them, that's fine.
Like I said, I get it. I miss forcing Pogohopper, relatively simple hero powers, and still don't like Demons. Games were rough back then though. There were times I just didn't want to play it at all. Nowadays, I don't have that feeling.
Besides that, even if there was a way we could all play our favorite version (meta). How would you find 7 other people to play in a relatively short amount of time?
Impermanence is the only constant. All suffering arises from resisting this truth.
Disagree, unless you're talking about loss much of the suffering people go through in this world is because they find themselves stuck in positions where nothing ever changes.

I love you Dreadsteed, I will never disenchant you!

Chill. We're talking about a video game here. Not your own self-importance.

lmao you were the one who started talking about "where all suffering comes from", I simply replied on the same terms

I never said that. Look at the username who originally said that. You're just making a fool of yourself just to satisfy your own narcissism.
If you sometimes feel that you are just running in circles, perhaps with the perspective of a new dimension, you might realize the change is occuring there and the circle is actually a spiral spring.

This is comforting for me. Only a bit, but still.

Is there any way to play the old version of Battlegrounds, I mean those times BEFORE Dragons were added and AFTER Nightmare Amalgam was removed?
The thing is I somehow don't like Dragons, Pirates, Elementals and Quillboars.
I somehow don't like this nowadays-version but maybe that's just me.
It's called progress.
Maybe in a couple years you'll have access to Battlegrounds Classic, knowing Activision.
Well...

Yes.
To be precise: December 19, 2019 (Amalgam has been removed) - February 25, 2020 (no Dragons yet).
