I prefer the old one by far. I don't find it very much fun facing off people with minions that have hundreds, maybe even thousands, of health. Tarecgosa+HP imp+Baron Rivendare is just fatiguing to face, especially if you lowroll and it's not a Murloc round so that you can poison them to death and you aren't lucky with spores.
And that's exactly why we have and need poison (sefin needing a fix isn't a question), why Maexxna's removal was a shit move rather than fix her, and why spore needs to be a 1/2 or even 1/3 so it can't get ghoul'ed or token'ed so easily.
Nagas are snakes, right? I hope we get poison there too, just... without the uber broken couple of weeks like we had with every single tribe introduced after the initial 4.
honestly i don't see stats (in a vacuum) as a problem. they screwed up BIG TIME with some stuff like Tarecgosa (should've never been put in) and Sefin (dumbest sh*t ever made). Poison as a mechanic is necessary to counter sheer stats, but the game state right now is incredibly unfun. Murlocs are in ? force it or play mechs. Murlocs are out ? play mechs and beat everything else. so bad
After a few weeks of the buddy system I yearned for the old system. Prior to the buddies I felt like things were basically as good as they can get. Yes, maybe a bit boring but everything seemed to be viable with Quillboars being a bit underpowered, but not one tribe dominating. It felt good.
Now, it's like someone else put it, everyone in the lobby is playing a separate game with a little overlap. I also think the new hero designs have been mediocre and polarizing. They are either super weak or just feel bad to play against.
