Anything can scale with work, even Murlocks at this point. So that point is irrelevant.
Plenty of good tempo hero's can make use of it.
Demons require the Juggalar / Minnion Spam + Tryant + Reaver to do do anything.
And at that point Juggalar is usually thrown away unless you get Imp Momma stacked enough to constantly spaw new minions.
That tactice is usually weaker compared to the new Demon of stacking your Weaver and hopiong for your T5/T6 demons, Felbat and the other one whose name I cannot remember atm.
So no. the top pottential for 49 "potential" dmg with without Imp Momma stack [since hp transference is no longer a thing to Imp Momma]
vs
Mechano-Tank with optimal current Mech build of [Micro mummy (1+1spawn), Harvest Golem (1, +1spawn), Replicating Menance [1, +3spawn), Mechano Egg (1, +1spawn) and Omega Buster (1, +6spawn) and this ignoring any Khadgar / Rivendale mechanic. Since Demons can use it, albeit less effectively. But will make note of another overly strong Mech minions, Kangors Apprentence which is +4 +? whatever mech it summons.
At base value thats, 48dmg on board flat + x2 that if it is allowed to spawn crucial resummoners.
So no. They don't have equal value.
If you think Mechs are weak, then you are seriously low rank. That's all I can say.
And no they dont' get smacked, they are doing the smacking since Beast got nerfed and Demons got their Impatient Doomsayer gutted.
Discounting luck.
Demons are only strong if you can make strong early stacks on Reaver or Tyrant and snag early Felbat/Ur'zul.
Beast only if you can get Leapfrog/Macaw before t4 and snag a Rat and then chance Rivendale and pray they dont' hit your rats first. If you get Goldrin and Crocfish. It's legit over for everyone. Beast despite nerfed still cannot snowball into insanely unfair levels because of the disguisting synergy.
Elementals are in pretty good place right now, still a little strong.
Pirates still wonky.
Dragons only if you get Promo-Drake and Tarecgoza. But you won't until its too late to try to stack it anyways and Chromawing stack is laughable and that card that gives +1 HP on attack is gutted. Khale'gos is trash. Fight me.
Murlocks Posion need to be removed right along with Poison Taunt-Div Shield High Attack Amalgam.
Cannot comment on menagerie. Though please remove Lightfang from existance as well.
QB is on the weaker side unless you get super lucky.

In the mid game I agreee - but dragons, quillboars and even murlocs all scale in the late game to make the card redundant quite easily. I too see similarities with jugglers, though as you said, they are confined to demon token builds.

Disagree. Murlocks are heavily dependant on Sefin. And Sefine rewards less quicker than Token builds that use Juggaler or Mechano.
Sefine needs minions that die first and early one to hit land on your stronger minions, which is harder the bigger you try to stack your Murlocks, which will start to gain speed mid-game.
Blind-eye discourages this. Because he wants to be attackign first for addition buff. I am starting to feel like Murkeye or whatever is a Murlock trap that actually keeps you down the longer you use him.

Well this is unexpected. I think this minion is incredibly well balanced. It is meant to get you over the hump into the late game and then drops off. It also loses the ability to actually kill anything once people start getting their stats going. I think it's a great minion with near perfect stats and definitely well placed at tier 4.
Mechs in general are really good right now, but not oppressive by any means like beasts and demons were. I think Battlegrounds in general is as well balanced as it can be right now.

I think elementals are better thou and I think that murlocs can scale to be a fine competitor for a tank build. Divine shield builds are a stronger way to go with mechs IMO. I was only talking about TOKEN builds. Yes we dump juggler at some point but I would also dump tank if it's not golden with loads of good tokens to support it. 48-96 dmg.... Sounds pretty mediocre tbh. Any pirate build will have 2 minions dealing that amount and they are wonky as you said. It's nothing for an average elemental/dragon/murloc build with multiple 50+ health minions. What was your point with summing up the meta again?
Avenge (2) for 6 dmg is broken.
With Mechs that can legit minion spam with taunts, a single Mechano-tank can deal out up to 40dmg to the other players boards.
Not only can Mechs abuse this, but so can Demons and Beast.
This way to powerful for it's teir.
Nerf to Avenge (4) or (5) or nerf damage by half.
