hi there,
I was just wondering if I'm the only one having issues with battlegrounds since the new update? I'm asking because I've conceded a lot of games (25% of the games I've played) just because I can't buy any minions and when I reconnect I've missed the first round...
also on a sidenote what's the point behind having a minion like Seafood Slinger in the game as a tier 6 minion? may be it's just me but I feel like this guy is probably supposed to add the golden minion to your hand cuz right now he does basicly nothing...
After doing my research I found out that the pink 'stuff' that appeared onto hearthstone cards must, in fact, have been coronavirus.
It has through hearthstone spread across the globe and infected all computers. And because too few people played hearthstone with plastic gloves on they got infected through their computer. Thus coronavirus is Hearthstone's fault and I expect a total of 3 packs from each expansion to be given to all coronavirus victims.
This is the only truth.

Restart Hearthstone regularly especially for Battlegrounds. Sad but true. With Battlegrounds if you ever see the animations being slow, try to restart between rounds.
Seafood Singer creates an instant triple if one of the minions in the Tavern is a Murloc. They need the wording on the card better.
But yes, a Tier 6 discover is "good" because being Tier 6 does not mean you see Tier 6 minions very often when you refresh. Seafood Singer is going to let you discover a Tier 6 one and depending how patient you are --- you can wait to pick a specific murloc in the tavern to make golden and I imagine Amalgadon counts.
Can you make a golden murloc in bobs tavern or only target your minions?
I saw a blue post about them disabling one of the 1-drops due to crashes - may be better for you now?

I don't think you can target your own minions, but I didn't try it when I had this minion. Or maybe I did and it wouldn't let me target my own minion.

Something to think of, if you can target your own minion it will be like Reno where you don't get the Triple Reward because you didn't play the minion, you just upgraded it.
Same issue here. Often when I alt+tab and come back to the game before it starts I cant buy minions on turn one. If I keep trying I often lose eventually so now I just insta concede and try again.... Pff..
You can make cards in the Shop golden. How is making a Primalfin or Amalgeddon golden not worth it for a 6?

You can target your own minion. I hadn’t thought about targeting murlocs in the tavern when I got one from a tripple earlier, so I felt like it was a bit underwhelming.
some weird thing that happened after the patch was i couldnt target basically the entire mid section of the screen, the left and right side of my side of the field were fine. no idea what caused this. had to reset all ingame options and it seems weirdly laggy sometimes and the animations felt too fast and not rendering properly

PremiumWhelp handler abuse everywhere, it has such an unhealthy interaction with Razorgore and Kale.
Someone gets to tier 5, finds Razor and suddenly there's 8/40 minion that starts erasing the lobby before anyone even has a chance to find a poison.

it's fine with Kale, I'd say. changes him to +1/+3, doesn't come online until late, doesn't get buffed or hit by DS, and no real other payoffs - if you're in dragons, you lose a load of health midgame, i find, and by the time you hit a 6 swapping comp means a 20-30 damage turn (someone's generally out by then, so no cap). Razor is another matter entirely - depends on highrolling a triple at 4, but can be ridiculously early for the stats.
Dragons usually top the lobbies, but when I'm trying the midgame falls out compared to mechs throwing 6 damage around or beasts getting huge amounts of buffs. Think they're just heavily picked, so only for highrolling.

PremiumC'thun is on another level of broken with whelp handler though, his hero power starts buffing +1/+5 per shot and it's a mess. He can get his entire board to 100+ HP before even reaching tier 6. Couple that with new tier 1 dragon gets absurd attack value if he gets any kind of buff at early tiers and you have stupid combo on pogo hopper level.

what's broken is the dragons in bg's right now. by turn 10 people have dragons with over 400 health, and its hard to get poisonous now
no longer gives xp?
Oof. C'thun would be crazy, can see that. Smuggler is certainly a very strong T2 in general, leads to half the lobby being dragons. Nice to see some hero/tribe synergies that don't lock you in like patches (Barov+pirates for example), but that c'thun one seems absurd.

PremiumI got mukla and evolving chromawing. Fed him 4 bananas at tier 1 and found whelp handler as soon as I went to tier 2. I kept feeding him bananas that gave him +1/+3 or +2/+4.
Then I had 40/30 Chromawing at 7 gold.
Whelp smuggler needs to go

Okay, after a few good games with Smuggler, it's absurd. Not even seeing Kale or razorgore and it's an easy top4 if you get some of the synergy with it. So many small buffs that get buffed by it - blood gems giving +1/+5? Cycling elementals with Domo and a dragon to the left?
