For anyone still playing dragons, even tough whelp smuggler was mostly fixed you can still use Blood Gems to get reliable health boost.
It was nothing special until I noticed that Necrolyte considers every transfered gem as separate buff so after getting a couple of gems out of new 3 star boar I could quickly buff all of my dragons to 80+ health.
New dragon build beat old school dragon build. (2nd place Curator had amalgam, 2 amaladons, 2 Kalegoses, one Razorgore)
(Got Voljins power one turn to swap stats from my Taragosa to buff the new support dragon for Taragosa. And Yseras power early to start finding triples of key dragons.)
I was initially going for mech deathrattle stuff but just couldn't find this tier 6 mech at all. Then when some beasty player died and frogs became possible again I ended up getting 2 non-golden ones just on time for a big swing. First time ever I managed to get 2 golden parrots and a golden rivendare.
Yeah, this build especially with Lich king feels almost impossible, if you play around Zapp. They should already do something about it, it was fun for first 1-2 weeks :)

agree! I felt filthy for going for it, but in my defense I initially didn't want to! The cards just appeared to me. It was a sign! xD
I just got 1st place with this build. Reno hero powered the Tier 5 minion that grows when a friendly Ele gains stats (cant remember the name). Had to try it out seeing it's now Tier 5 and never played it when it was T6. Damn it was fun lol. It wouldn't be a viable build normally though, need Reno to make it golden early.
True, animations took forever and opponents were emoting me like no tomorrow.
I pick tree whenever possible because his hero power is one of few that actually changes the flow of combat instead of providing economy/stat boost.
Maybe Deathwing is another one but ultimately +2 attack stops being that relevant lategame so I find that it's best just to go wide with him and hope your tokens get to clean up everything while spamming tier ups.
Wow, good to know
Leapfrogger + Parrot + Rivender = 75801/ 75569 minion. Nothing more to say.
That is indeed close to the best build possible (ever in HS). Completely broken interaction.
Peggy Pirates that transitioned to Quill menagire. Got spore to deal with last standing Cthun dragon.
My most minion damage is now over 0.5 milion. Definitely balanced frog.
All the poison !
...and I thought Demons are the most fun...
hell yeah, guys, this is the most entertaining build ever (fuck beast, I beat them all anyways)
step 1: double golden token (shinese curve), double miss T5 discover - pick Bristleback Knight twice as an emergency
step 2: accidentally finding Grease Bot.... nothing here... "oh wait, I'm Reno..."
step 3: GG
sorry for step 2 spoilers :-/
Mimsy Were The Borogoves
That's a good combo, since Bristleback Knight can get shield twice.
finally managed to do it... golden parrot with reborn, baron and omega buster.
After 2 attacks all of my mechs had +48/+48, pretty good for lobby with no demons and someone that failed to assemble frog in time.

I like the new dragons - still got only 3rd with this build :D

Not the best build but pretty funny and annoying nonetheless. Khadgar never got sniped, only lost to galactic 130+ hp elementals in final round.

I hate you for this, truly. Playing against Greybeard builds like this increases my rage level to eleven.
Honestly had this mech build high on my "how the fuck am I winning" list
