Just like in the title. I think there is often too little time to execute your turn. Especially if you're playing on mobile which tons of players actually do...
I know there is a lot of jokes going around about "boomers" lacking speed. But seeing a lot of streamers, who play this mode at least 8 hours a day, often struggle to fit into this time window just keeps me thinking that there should be at least 10 seconds added. I'm always pushing myself to stop thinking too much and just do stuff but then oftentimes you stumble upon minions that allow you to change your strategy and this sometimes leads to not having time to position correctly, use whole gold for refreshes etc.
Or maybe it's because the timer is based upon how long your battle phase lasted. What do you think?
Yes, turns are too short. Basically all good players use the settings to make the animations faster. Some people even use tools to disconnect right before the combat phase to get more time in their turns.
I think it's hard to blame players that they use such tools. Like its kinda stupid to have 50 seconds for most meaningful turns only because animations last too long. Animations should be faster.
I could agree for earlier stages. But later on it's definitely not balanced. Like 50 seconds where you're getting triples, adjusting tactic to tech against opponents. There is just not enough time. There should be a larger disproportion between the time given in the early stages of the game and late game. All because animations and longer thought process required to wrap your head around everything you're being offer in the shop etc.
Early game they need to be shorter; there's almost never a difficult decision to make. Lategame there are TONS, and the turns definitely need to be longer there.

I think they are way too long.
You know, my favourite way to play BG is pirates with golden Cap’n Hoggarr.
So, do I think that there should be more time for turns?...Well, take a guess.
