I mean, the point of collecting three copies of the same card is to get a more powerful version of that card, right? but Archdruid Hamuul, being a 6-tier minion, doesn't provide any bonus effect. Why?
It would be so easy to read "Battlecry: Refresh Bob's Tavern with minions of your most common type. One of them is golden" or something like this.
Is it really a card you keep around to get golden though unless it just drops into your lap? There's no reason to keep it on board ever really so I imagine the devs didn't worry too much about its golden effect.

Or just add the effect onto your next refresh. Seems a bit sad yes :)
yeah, some cards are so strong as basic, that giving them more power as golden is insignificant...

Not a bad comparison. I do think Hamuul has a bit more space for upgrades thou + he's crap on board
