This tribe is trash. Why on earth they ever removed Floating Watcher is beyond my comprehension. This tribe cant scale at all unless you're Reno and you golden a Wrath Weaver on turn 1. Or maybe you get lucky early with a high health pool and can triple a Soul Juggler and maybe top 4 with your ping build. Other than Annihilan Battle Master and the tier 3 demon that can replace another demon and grant 3 gold...they are all mostly complete trash.
Yeah, hot garbage. I'm curious about Blizzard's philosophy in regards to tribes that can't win a lobby. I mean in theory their average placement could still be similar if they were a really consistent 3rd-6th finisher. But is that something Blizzard wants in the game? It's not particularly fun and that low variance play seems like something that only rating-obsessed try-hards would pursue.
Though there is something to be said for Wrath Weaver as an early game carry...
Removing the Watcher isn't the problem. That card was weak. The problem is that it got replaced by another weak card.
Demons aren't worthless though. They are a good backup plan if the game isn't going well, as a Juggler comp can easily place you in top 4 or even a little higher.
Before the boars arrived, big/apm demons won me several games with with the right hero (Jandice or Hooktusk). Unfortunately, demons are quite underwhelming now...
I actually won 1 game with a Demon build a couple of weeks before the Quillboars were added. But i was playing as Jaraxxus which helped a lot and my final opponent was also a Demon build funny enough.
"Old" tribes were designed in a different way, with different strategies in mind. New tribes (Elementals and Quillboars) though, are all about scaling into big numbers and if you can't compete (or cheese with shenanigans like divine shield + poison), you won't stand a chance. Demons are not the only ones struggling, other camps (except menagerie, since it has good scaling too) have pretty much the same issue, unless you're very lucky with highroll and specific hero. I think they need some kind of rework.

Rework please.
