2 mana discount was not bad previously the real problem is finding elementals once I picked the chenvaala and didn't get a single elemental till 10th turn.
I think it's a good card and needs specific enough conditions to really go off that it meets it's legendary status. It should be powerful, doesn't go nuts too early that you can't slow it down (most often), but if you don't have an answer then it will snowball while using a lot of resources. Seems strong but fair. I only play against mage once every 8-10 games though, so honestly, give the class SOMETHing to enjoy.

But he doesn't force a tribe! I went Murlocs with him and any turn where there was a Sellemental in the tavern and I had some spare mana and there was nothing else I could use, I bought that and sold it twice.
So I was all Murlocs and Tier 5 rather early.
This is why Chenvaala is a a skill hero, he enables non-obvious strategies that separates the good players and great players.

Not true, yes she is less tribe forcing hero than Mugurgul and Patches but still tribe forcing. I have won many times with random shit like Demon Mugurgul (few patches ago) or Dragon Mugurgul but that doesn't make it good. Her winrate and pickrate are in the same league as with other tribe forcing heroes, in trash tier.

We'll see. Most of the games I play (9k mmr) there is very frequently a Chenvaala in the final 4 players, often the final 2.
I haven't had the hero available to select very many times, but 2 games were totally easy and the other game I never saw an elemental and in addition ran into stacked boards and died at 9 mana turn.
I just broke through the 6.5k mmr. But I have found her to be a good hero regardless off the buff. I have never finished other than top4 with her and the majority of the matches have been as nr 1

At best she is as good as Jarraxus but that too when Elements are out of control broken. She will drop hard once Djinni gets nerfed.

I will say this as a weakness ...
I have played Chenvaala twice today. Both times I was very, very upset with Bob.
I kept getting really, really bad Tavern rolls like Homoculus, Wrath Weaver, Unstable Ghoul, Kindly Grandmother.
I lost both games very badly --- some heroes can cope a bit with these kind of Tavern Rolls -- Chenvaala gets killed with consecutive bad Tavern rolls.

Funny thing is, this is kinda mostly accurate for this mode, too.
BGs Chenvaala takes the right conditions to truly go off. Don't roll enough elementals and it really falls flat. Maybe Strong-but-Fair, maybe OP, we'll know after more data.
Anyhow, as to tags, just above the first post is the listing of subformus, and it's also below the "post reply" button.
IDK, it always kills me no matter what I play. I had one chance to play it and it was like easy mode whole game.
It's like Patches on steroids, find one Sellemental and it's GG.
Mimsy Were The Borogoves
its hit or miss like many heroes who focus on 1 type
Def better, but like Patches, kind of feast or famine depending on what you're offered early on.
I started playing it after the patch, it races up the ranks pretty quick now. But yes, you have to find Elementals.

She is certainly the best force tribe hero, but like the others really hit or miss.

Battlegrounds thread.
lol, gotcha. man I gotta pay attention but threads also need a bg tag or something.
Tribe forcing heroes are mediocre at best.

Or you could, you know, read the thread and not just the title ;)

1 hero will always be top tier, its better one that's a feast or famine one I guess
