The problem with such an extreme meta is also that there has to be an extreme opposite reaction, i.e end game being a board of 7 poison minions with no stats. Thus at the moment where elementals are available in every game there are only 2 realistic ways to play (maybe 3 if you're lucky with Jandice and high roll big pogo's.) I've enjoyed this patch so far but like everything else in HS over the last 18 months the games are made to appeal to people with short attention spans who like to eat crayons. (I don't have crayons anymore so I have to make do with candles).
So basically just get a huge mega windfury minion and get the 50% chance to attack first and steamroll your opponent for 20+ damage in one turn.

We need a damage cap if one giant minion gets to attack and kill 4 minions before you can even react. That shit is beyond broken.

The game could be so great if the devs would just listen to what people want
