In order, 1, 2, and 3 are not "cheating", since they are not only within the bounds of the game, but was strongly encouraged in the MULTIPLE Battlegrounds team based tournaments that have already run. 1 2 and 3 are just strategic, the same way duo queueing in 2v2's is better than solo queueing in 2v2's.
For 4 and 5 it should be noted that even guaranteeing rank 5 doesn't guarantee your rating goes up, since all the *other* accounts MMRs will go down, and in turn drag the average MMR of the lobby down, thereby reducing your rewards.
If you get your MMR to be around 8000+, you'll start playing some "cheaters" that abuse disconnect/reconnect to have more time in the Tavern before everyone else to get the cherries and more time for Khadgar/Brann non-sense that takes too much animation time for those of us that play a straight game.
So I wouldn't sweat over this, get your MMR real high and you aren't getting your typical completely fair game every single game anyway.
The benefit of playing with friends far exceeds the risk the tryhards will do abusive things -- almost every game has that and Battlegrounds has had it since 2019.
Except if you've never been 7000+ MMR for a significant period of time, you won't encounter it because the tryhards aren't at 5000 or 6000 or even 7000 MMR.
Agreed, I played some games that felt off. My MMR has dropped as well to levels I haven't seen since I started playing this. I then looked at a streamer playing in a team. The advantages to play in a team are enormous.
Will stop playing until this gets fixed.

Blz is encouraging people to create a small group to cheat in BG.
The cheating ways I can image so far include,
1. You and your friends can choose to level up when you match in a fight to get higher level quickly.
2. Adjust minions position to get a higher chance to win or defeat when match your friend in a fight
3. If your/your friend's hero is Arch-Villain Rafaam, you/he can adjust your minions to give him/you a triple.
4. You can create 3 dummy accounts and queue in a group, to gurantee you get 5th at least.
5. You can create 3 dummy low mmr accounts to match other low mmr players.
There should be some other "smart" ways to cheat in BG in this new mode.
Maybe, but it seems a lot of work to get a slightly higher MMR just to play against tougher opponents.
If you invite your shitty MMR friends while playing around 10k than you must win 100% or you lose like -200 points I guess

I will easily trade the (small) potential for people to slightly better their winrates for the ability to play with multiple friends.
I mean it’s personal preference as to what you value I guess.
