Faced a comp with golden mccaw and golden barron. Noticed every single battle the golden mccaw trigged both his golden bomb and his golden selfless hero on its attack. Reading the text one would expect one minon to be trigged not two. Can't find anywhere blizz has confirmed this is intended. Anyone else run into this?
Yea its definitely confusing. But the card text on golden macaw says "trigger a random friendly minion's deathrattle twice". One would think based on the text that macaw is triggering one minions deathrattle twice, but thats not the case. The "trigger a random friendly minion's deathrattle" goes through twice. The golden baron just causes all deathrattle effects to go through three times. So a golden bomb dying with a golden barron would shoot six bombs. Goldens selfless with golden baron would give 6 minions divine shield.
I mean, Blizzard isn't really known for their consitency... MANY cards have, and still have this issue of same keywords doing different things. For example, the "WHEN you cast" text is sometimes different. And it's not even hard to fix, I'm pretty sure.

That's how Golden Macaw works. It may make more sense to read it as:
After this attacks, trigger a random friendly minion's Deathrattle. This effect happens twice.
That's different than the effect of a golden Fiendish Servant where it gives its attack to the same minion twice (despite using same keywords)...
Ahh thanks everyone, I was putting the emphasis on the wrong word, I get it now.
It can land on two different minions 💯

Not sure it is different. I've had Fiendish hit both the same minion or 2 different. It's just random.
