Hi, I was thinking about what cards would fit Battlegrounds and I am really interested what cards would you guys like to see. My favourites so far are
Gahz'rilla - we have a card that increases it's attack once it attack itself, but what about an increase of attack after taking damage? Giant Sand Worm - card similar in concept, worm itself may be a bit too strong Grimscale Chum ; Grimestreet Outfitter ; Grimestreet Smuggler etc. - I think that hand buff cards would create quite an interesting risk / reward for the game Arrogant Crusader etc. - minions that have conditional deathrattle Biteweed ; Edwin VanCleef - "cycle" minions Master of Evolution - insted of costs (1) more it may be from a higher / same tier Frothing Berserker and Enrage cards - I honestly think blizzard kinda forget it had enrage mechanism back in the day Blackhowl Gunspire - I think card like this would be a really fun addition Drakkari Enchanter - this may need tunning due to Golddigger, but I believe it would be an interesting alternative to Brann and Baron Necrotic Geist - I would not protest against anti-token card honestly. It gets kinda annoying if your last hit is into a rat and you take 5 additional damage
I think Pirates could use Bloodsail Howler as a Tier 2 minion. Obviously Rush wouldn't do anything so let's just forget about that part of the card. Also it would be simple to design a Golden version - instead of +1/+1, it'd get +2/+2. Apparently it could be pretty strong, since you could make it into a big mid-game minion.
I like Master of Evolution, but it might be too strong and would make the game even more high-rollely.
Personally, I want my tavern 2 Shattered Sun Cleric. It's a universal buff, but only to one minion and only +1/+1 compared to tribe-buffer that do +2/+2 or AoE.
This would give you some new tools and build possibilities. Put your Juggler outside of juggler range? Make Zapp not target your Baron? Or just buff any card.
Another thing I feel is missing is something like Big-Time Racketeer. Could make it tavern 3 since it takes up 2 spaces, but it would give heroes like Malygos or Hooktusk and a few others some more cards to make use of their hero power.
Also, Stealth could be an interesting addition, since it would prevent that your minions are sniped and since they have to attack at some point anyway, it'll always be broken. e.g. Master of Disguise
Faceless Manipulator could be interesting - targeting a golden minion would not result into a golden copy, the same as Rafaam doesn't steal a golden copy. Not sure which I would put him on, probably 3 or 4. I think 5+ is too high, he has the potential to make strong triples, but sometimes awkward sales have to be made to make board space etc.
